If you have the room, get an 18" Zcon and that's it. If you want to play, get the 4 RE. I'm pretty sure you will want to sell them later. and may finally get a Zcon ! There are so much woofers on the market, and you have access to a huge (USA) used market, so, I understand your situation. but you won't be able to test all of the woofers ! I'd get the zcon 18", and focus on the best box I can fit in my car. Good luck.

Wonderful install. I bet it's loud too ! The new Sirocco looks great, but it is so small (like the old one, a little bigger though), I wouldn't want one ! Big success in Europe, but it came out at least last year. Not so new !

I received one Icon and 3 xcons from SSA. delivered by USPS (3 to 4 weeks of shipping) or UPS (1 week). They were in perfect conditions, strongly packaged. And I live overseas, in the Caribbeans ! Same thing for my btl. Maybe I'm lucky ! I cross my fingers for the btl 15 I am waiting for ! And I live overseas

I sold my 88 prs II (european model of the 800/880, the black one) and just bought a deh 9300 SD. Less fancy tuning options, the only one I miss is the choice of the slope in the filters. But it sounds as good for me ! And now I can use usb, sd card AND my iphone without adding anything to the head unit. That's what I wanted. I sold the 88 for more money than I bought the 9300(with overseas shipping and taxes !) . The new Pioneer h u are less expensive now, than the old ones. But no remote, a cd instead of a big book for the "notice", more plastic materials. good luck for your purchase.

I had mine in a box with quite the size of your sealed one, with sub up and 2 4" aeroports firing through one side of the car (3.1ft3). I loved it. but my car is a hatchback. It was waay better than the slot ported box with sub and port up. I kept the original size of the aeroports : 17" long

I unfortunately did Steve's nuts must touch the ground he's got so many people hanging from them. I'll give him credit though, he's done a hell of a job making his name into a brand, for really no good reason at all. The 2 Aura amps would be my choice. More...possibilities in the future. Get some good speakers upfront. It's very important. Good choice for the sub ! A12" would be better though !

A friend of mine needs to fix 6 of them for his pro audio system. He loved those subs originally, but he is afraid to buy the recone kits. He doesn't know if they're worth the cost. I bought 4 midbass speakers for his car, on that site. They seems to be very good. With the small motor (neodymium or somehing). He has only installed 2 of them, but he plans to use all 4. He likes them a lot. He managed to make them blend very well with the rest of his Davis Acoustics door speakers. I'll take a look at their amp quick !

So lucky to find one for your car ! I'd love a 270 in mine, even a smaller one ! BTW your project is soooo nice. I'm jealous !!! Don't listen to the haters !

If you like how it sounds, why don't you keep it ?!! The sub is firing up, but directly to the trunk opening. ot so much clearance. Can you make a box with the sub and the port firing trough the back or through the rear seat into the cabin ?

French, but far away from France ! I'm from MARTINIQUE in the Carribeans. Not so far from the USA, but shipping something to me is expensive as a shipping to ...the moon ! That's why the Fi btl N2 is a good option for us who want big subs. It is not to heavy, so shipping costs can be(quite) reasonable for us.

You're going to buy a super expensive head unit !!! Are you sure you need that ?! A single 15" xcon ported at 30 hz will be enough for you. It's what I think, but I'm not an expert at all. Listen to M5, bro !
