  1. Would it power component speakers? Technically?.....kind of.... Don't do it, it won't sound good.
  2. Id be interested to see what you think of it If you buy it, definitely post up your opinion in here With that said, i wouldn't buy it unless it was really cheap lol...I don't like RF too much
  3. that radio install is pretty pathetic.... what all is going in there?
  4. Is it 2.5 cuft NET? It should be right around 3.0 cuft including driver disp. and port volume.
  5. Haha 8 awg is a bit overkill for speaker wire....now with that said, it's what i'm using too I"m not sure what you should do with you dist block...if you have 4 awg going to your amp(s) you definitely want 4 awg grounds
  6. Haha true, he is running an ungodly amount of power to them
  7. dance of the gator FTW http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=28261 and actually i'm not 100% sure he hit 150, but he's at least getting very close with those Audioque HDC's
  8. Haha that gator dances better than most lol!! doing flips and stuff
  9. I'd venture to say you haven't tried enough/any good tens to come to the conclusion that tens aren't enough....Thorshammer is hitting like 150 on music with two tens.
  10. I'd say about 20 people at least
  11. Woohoo! but why is painting going to take so long?
  12. suprefly replied to Oni's topic in Fi Technical
Generally, just take the power wire out first, and the ground last. And be careful hooking it back up too
  13. Hey I'm really looking to get a Fi Q but was wondering about the dual 2 ohm coils....are they really 1.75? And is it safe to wire them to a one ohm load on an Audioque 1200d amp?
  14. I really think you should look at Audioque.com. Seems like they are exactly what you want
  15. Ahhh i really want to see it!!! I've been to just about every place they filmed, since I live in New Mexico Haha I remember my parents and i riding down a road and coming up on all these burned out cars just sitting on the side of the road. We were like, "What the heck?" Then we noticed...and it was a breezy day....that the tumble weeds weren't moving.... They had strapped down even the tumble weeds lol! Anyways we have a bunch of pictures of us sitting in the cars, and they also shipped in a burned out 7-eleven on a semi for the movie
  16. http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KLM-AK0 http://www.knukonceptz.com/productMaster.c...%20RCA%20Kables And that should be it for one amp If you still need a list.... 1/0 power wire 1/0 ground wire 1/0 gauge ring terminals RCA cables 1/0 loom (plastic surround stuff for the wire in the engine bay) Remote turn on wire Speaker wire inline fuse holder fuse Ummmmm think thats it......
  17. Ok so take your doors apart, take out EVERYTHING that isn't necessary....cloth, plastic, etc......do the same thing throughout your whole car, then open all your windows, put down your rear seats down and point the subs/port forward And i'd also look at kicker then too.
  18. 4 awg for the amps and 1/0 awg for the big three is pretty standard
  19. Sundown > hifonics Go with sundown, you'll be happy
  20. i second that lol!
  21. Also, crutchfield is a bit overpriced...and they dont carry Fi or SSA Why the Q is a good question. What do you want? SQ or SPL? Use 4 awg. Fi is a great company, but I'd jump on Quentins deal and buy an Icon or two and get an amazing, beautiful for box free lol. And tell us exactly what you want your Head unit to do. That might take some time and research btw.....
  22. this thread is win I have a suspicion you wont be disappointed with the Icon
