Does anyone have any experience with the AQX3500's? im planning on running one on 2 AQ HDC318's copper coils. Id like to run it at .5 ohms, will it become a frying pan or will it be ok.

i read on another forum that they can handle 1000-1500 daily...im guessing its more like 600-900 daily. what can they be run at daily

Im gonna be getting my 15" custom juggernaut back from PSI soon and i was gonna build a reg ported box 4.5 cu 35 hz first, but i am kinda dabbling with the idea of a 4th order. ive tried looking up some info but so far i just have spent alot of time and still dont know that much about them. any opinions, advice or tips is appreciated. im mostly looking to figure out what the method is on figuring out how many cubes you need inside the sealed area, and how much you need in the ported area and what you port it to, and why you port it at that hz. im planning on building multiple boxes for this sub to figure out what i like best

whats the opinions on the newer MB Quart amps. i know galamonkey uses them and ive seen alot of others with them. Im wondering if they share the same boards as the autotek mean machines. they seem very similar, especially being that they are both crappsonics brands. they are tempting bc you know the name used to be good and you can get them for so cheap on ebay.

ya i would take sundown or AQ all day over hifonics. i used to have 2 and both took a shit. they heat up really fast. and dont put out rated. i would stick with AQ or sundown just based on the fact they dont get bad reviews, not to mention you get great customer service with both.

ive had 2 BXI2006's. both took a shit on me within a year. they get hot really easily and dont put out rated, and that was on decent electrical. i would never buy one again. im personally way happier with my Autotek Mean Machine, but im not really in love with that either. after im done with this one ill no longer be a maxxsonics user. i just think they are cheap. maybe the XXV series or old school Autoteks are good but im not gonna even give them a shot...id def lean towards AP or AQ if you are on a budget

im gonna start a home audio setup for my room and im gonna make my own boxes for it. so far im looking into the emminence alpha 6.5 midranges on p/e. idk where to go from there as to idk which crossover to pick for which tweets. these are gonna be ran off my JVC 5.1 reciever. im gonna be running a separate deal for my sub setup. im looking for a good 12 or 15. im pondering the idea of using my 18 inch ssd. so far im looking at using the dayton 500 rms plate amp off p/e as well. im gonna be using this as a movie and music setup, but mostly music. any recs on box as far as ported or sealed are appreciated. im mostly looking for advice on the crossovers for the speakers.

haha k well nvm my last few posts. it didnt work out. it was cool at first then like an hour later wouldnt hold charge or even keep up voltage without reving it. so i pulled it out again, switched pulleys back. now its good! 14 volts steady off the alt. the pulleys were only an 1/8 of an inch diff and it made that big of a difference. only thing i dont like is how the belt hangs off the edge

well the pulley from the new alt was a little smaller than the stock one. so now the new alt has the stock size one. its not much bigger, just a little.

oh sorry...i dont really want to ask them anything. i just want to work at a decent shop who knows their stuff. i ask stuff i need to know on here already
