  1. nice im thinken ill need three, any other options for d1 instead of d2 or 4?
  2. ok then just email jacob@ sundown and ask for a price shipped, should be in your 3-400 range bro, tell him travis sent ya and he will hook ya up
  3. you could use a saz1000 bro wired at 1.5 you would get a lil more power than needed but head room is good, you can get them in your price range, where you located?
  4. you will have to give me some pointers soon jacob im getting a 92 2dr for cheap to use as a comp car, will use 2 ns 15s or 18s whatever fits the best under window line and 2 4500s, so after batts amps and shit it will probably be 2 15s lol, to bad we cant run 16v in mwspl but we do get to do outlaw hehe nice numbers for sealed tho bro, and on the rise, sundown amps seem to shine when rising to 2 ohms, we clamped my 1500 wired at .66 on stock electrical at [email protected]@12v and after i added my batts and a buss bar on the alt, we blew 160a of fusing on a clean signal so at around 13.7v this map put out a lot of juice burping 20 hz tone lol, clamped the saz4500 at the last show and got [email protected]@13v rising from .5, so they put out even after rise lol
  5. ^^^ to true lol i had a couple guys "holding off" lol cant wait to tell them they gota wait now lol..... but i gota wait till the 12s are back in to redo my build
  6. good god that was quick......
  7. find out who is the state rep, or just call/ email sundown directly, i would love to sell ya one but im the iowa rep and doubt you wana drive out rofl
  8. well to be honest the sa series is budget but the ev2 line will be less
  9. gota know how much power your gana use bro, im doing a box for 2 btl 18s on a single 3500 for a customer atm anf its 14cf @33 port is 17tx10w with a 3in kerf. but 14 is in the middle for box size, you could go as big as 18-20 cubes depending on power or as small at 12cf on higher power, it boils down to mechanical limits of the woofer
  10. 75 is way to small bro, like lacob said 140-160 your gana want right around 11-15 sq in of port per cube, and flared ports always help out
  11. these are a big step up from type r's ive ran both, the sa-s have a much cleaner sound and will handle more power. i love mine they take a beating lol
  12. i compete in mwspl, great shows check out the site, i may make a couple shows up north this year. need to get the build big started though lol
  13. core 2 e8400 nvidia evga 285gtx
  14. what nick has said is very true, order a recone and either shrink the box or change up the ssf filter, i run a sa-12 in a customers 07 rango on a sax-125.2 (round 450-500wrms @4ohm) and has had no problems BUT i have the box tuned to 30hz and the ssf up to about 27hz, if i where to drop the ssf what happed to your btl would likely happen to the sa. i have not had my hands on a btl yet but i am starting a box for 2 18" 14cf@33hz on a single saz3500 pure daily ground pounder for a customer. order the recone and have fun bro, thats a great sub you have!
  15. ok one thing you do have to realize is that it is also going to be box dependent, box rise is a huge thing. anyways i run mine at .66 and on a 20hz burp we dropped to 12v and rising to 2.2 got 16??wrms just added some batts and dont drop below 13v anymore so maybe 1800ish now, but no you will not get 2600w, 2000 max keeping voltage around 14v and keeping imp rise under 3x...... my box is tuned low thats y im seeing almost 4x, have not clamped my spl box 5cf@42hz but it does take more of a draw on the electrical so im sure its getting more, daily box specs in my sig
  16. nice score bro! i only pulled a 128.6 in mwspl sensor was 12" outside pass window 3 sa 12s on a saz1500, so you stomped me lol
  17. dude i need one of those im from texas shirts! born in dallas lol, anyways looken good bro cant wait to see the numbers
  18. just a note, i run my 1500 at .66 and run that daily for long periods of time,at 20hz we saw a rise of 4x and got 1600w @12v 2.6ohms, if it would have had more juice i might have popped a fuse
  19. from what i have seen louisiana has a lot of ppl doing car audio shouldent be to hard bro, those 8"s are the beefyest i have seen for the money
  20. no congrats? jeez thx lol jk
  21. double the batts, at least how big alt? may got to a dual alt
  22. i ran one sa-12 on 1k for a daily no problem... wouldn't recommend for avg user but if you know what your doing then they will take it
  23. also on class i was beat by 8 10" ia 187s on 2 kicker 2500s other class was beat by 4 9512s on a m4 so im happy rofl..... the 9512s only beat me by 1 db on 30 sec avg....
  24. had a great day at the comp, place 2nd and 3rd, 30 sec musical avg 12" out side passenger window was 128.6, 3min musical avg at the dash was 141....... got a chance to clamp the 1500....... tehehe 1600w......@2ohm dropping to 12v... at 20hz tone..... steering wheel shakes up and down almost an inch at 20hz lol
  25. and on a side note, i dont really like fuse's they generate resistance and heat, i have never had a problem running w/o them and have had problems running them so thats y i dont use them, or solder my wires.... just add resistance
