IA Says the flatlynes are 27lbs a piece i dont think it would be necessary to double up the front baffle if you use 3/4" mdf and do some minor internal bracing, but if you want flush mounted subs or just for and extra piece of mind it wouldn't hurt just makes the enclosure heavier than it needs to be.

Yup sounds like time for a new sub tinsels broke somewhere, can't say for sure why though but could have just been it's time and who knows maybe the warmer temps allowed a ticking bomb that developed over the cold winter to give way.

Finally ordered the batts, will be doing Kinetik a HC1400 up front and Hc3800 in the rear should hold me over until i can get an Ho alt from Ohio Generator, sorry for all the delay guys was going to get some XS Batts but they are extremely difficult to find and i got hooked up from Pat at Kinetik. Batts will be in next week and the enclosure hopefully by then end of the month.

Try one of these connect to ipod then rcas directly to amp, after that probably a bad sub. I say this according to the info you posted of the amp or amps working previous to installing in your setup. Im guessing 450 - 550.00 from 12" - 18" Sweet ass subs just not aimed at my goals but for people wanting a high output driver for daily and spl use im sure these will fit the bill. In Sir Lancelots vid they look to be able to handle a good deal more than rated power.

Looks like i may have found a alt for my car finally, talked to Ohio gen and they seem to be able to make a monster little alt for my car 200 at idle 300+ with some throttle. My question is are these guys still building quality products and how is their cs, would love to hear about some experience with Ohio. Thanks.
