Which of these would be louder?
I picked the IA's because i own them, and they surprise me everyday when i turn on my car, because of the output, but you really cant go wrong with any of the choices. Just get the ones that match your box the best

Just got to get some speaker mounts since i have the basic system, and dont want to cut the speakers out nice. just remember the stock batt power wire is halfway ran down the middle on the drivers side Yeah i got the rca's going down the passanger side

vid of Death Penalty 12" v1
is that box ported, at 23 seconds it looks like the sub is unloading and pushing the suspension too much. Sound like its being pushed too hard too, but it could always just be the video quality

Dcon review
my girl is just starting to get into audio stuff. After listening to my car for a while she cannot stand not having subs in her car, or the nice clear sound of component speakers. Cant wait to install stuff in her car

Are the Flatlynes for me?
Dude you had your pre volt output wrong, with the gain too high, plus the bass boost was on. What were you expecting to happen? Also like Alton said did you just put them in a box, because that changes how the drivers perform dramatically. To nick, you make a great product, my 187's can take everything i can throw at them, and they are still going strong. Dont let this guy get you down

Water in door panels!
Im just putting mine under the dash by each door , so they are pretty close to the speakers, plus easy access. Dont have to rip any paneling off

1200sae vs 1000saz
i think the saz's can take a lower impedance. I believe they used to be warranted down to .5 ohms, but they changed that about a year ago to 1 ohm i believe. But they were doing fine with the low impedances

- fat mat ?
haha i know how you feel when you have to ask your dad to take the car apart and everything. Im the same way. i just dont want to screw anything up...but it helps my dad is a mechanic for gm and can look up anything on the computer...They even have pictures on how to take the car apart- Pictures of your new equipment
- fat mat ?
i really like my SDS tiles. Only ordered 12 for my entire trunk and rear deck and it is nice and quite now. Best 20 bucks i ever spent- fat mat ?
it does not seem as thick as some of the other competitors out there, it only has 3 mils thick aluminum, which from my understanding is what actually stops the rattles, by making the sheet metal more ridged. But it says it uses a rubberized adhesive; which is way better than an asphalt adhesive so that is a plus. It seems like it would be ok, but from your sig you got quite a system going in so i dont think i would go cheap on on the sound deadening. Just my opinion though, do it right the first time...especially if your doing full coverage- Need advice on eardubs
the altec lansing ones that i posted earlier i think are just what you are looking for :] They make some very nice equipment for computers and i have one of their systems for my laptop and their quality goes into their ear buds too!- Need advice on eardubs
Amazon.com: Altec Lansing UHP606 Backbeat Pro Reference Earphones (Black/Gold): Electronics I just bought these and they are amazing. They have really good response in all regions. They sound very natural, so the bottom end isnt very pronounced, but you know that it is there. It sounds just right in my opinion. They are very good at blocking out other sounds and they have a nice tight seal on yours ears. They are also very comfortable. I have worn them for many 8 hour days and my ears felt fine. Good luck on your search- Sundown Audio
i love my sundown!!!! haven't had any problems with it- Your first system...
My first set up....well im still working on it. Im putting in an eclipse cd5100 head unit, alpine type x pros, arc audio 2 channel (fd2200), and i already have my incriminator 187's in a custom box and my sundown saz-1000d. Not bad for my first, im just trying to do it right the first time though and this is all in an 08 cobalt- Questions about the 187.
1)I think the subs only come it dual 4 ohm configurations, but not 100% sure of that 2)These subs can really take the power. I have them on my saz-1000D and i just had to turn it up really loud one day...they took all the power i could give them, but i would not suggest doing that for very long. I dont think i really ever go over the 300 rms rating on the subs. I have all stock electrical and i get no dimming even when it is quite loud, so i cannot be pulling that much current. All in all i couldnt be happier with the subs. They perform really well for the price tag. All of my friends are amazed that there are only 2 12's in my car with only 300 watts of power to each...give or take a hundred- IA 6.4 - 4 Channel Amp!
I agree. im holding off on getting another sundown amp for some comps. I might just get the sundown soon instead of waiting for some news on this- a little problem with my subs
i just stuck the port in for that picture. Trust me when i measured it up it was 3.25 inches from the back, and i added in a piece to help the air around the corner. Also you should only subtract .75 inches from the total depth because the front thickness on the box is part of the port, and the port is 17.75 inches...i just round to 18. It doesnt change the tunning that much.- a little problem with my subs
wow i was actually thinking of asking if i could do that. what do you recommend to plug the port? This will probably have to wait till spring though...its almost freezing in ohio...global warming my ass - fat mat ?
