you should be fine, but i would take a look at maybe a kinetik battery instead of a yellow top
  6. MOAR!!
  7. These woofers looks awesome!
  8. im surprised that only one person mentioned SOUNDSPLINTER i cant say enough good things about them the quality and customer service from them is absolutely amazing Alpine headunits Focal or a/d/s Speakers and hands down best amps ever made are the Diamond Audio D7 series
  9. You mentioned possibly running dual drivers, so let's lay this down clearly:A Single Dual 2ohm Driver may be wired for 1ohm or 4ohm operation Two Dual 2ohm Drivers may be wired together for 0.5 or 2ohm operation. Likewise A Single Dual 4ohm Driver may be wired for 2ohm or 8ohm operation Two Dual 4ohm Drivers may be wired together for 1ohm or 4ohm operation. Sound quality should not be affected by the varied operational impedance. Generally speaking, a 4ohm load seems to be the easiest on car electrical systems. Just ensure that the amp you are using will be able to provide your desired power level at the given impedance that you end up wiring to. If you need further assistance, I urge you to email me: contact <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the only problem im going to run into is that im going to have a hard time trying to get my hands on another soundsplinter 12" d2 that is brand new. i bought mine from a guy who ran 500 watts to it for about 10 minutes then unistalled the subs because he was getting another car and he needed the money so i might have to end up going the the PG amp sell the d2 and buy 2 brand new d4's
  10. which would i wire it up to so i can get more of an LSQ sound from the sub
  11. oh and one more question what impadence should i have my sub wired up to the sub is a dual 2ohms so im not the smaretest kid when it comes to this but can i wire it a 2ohms or not, but if im not mistake i can only wire a dual 2ohm sub to 1 or 4 ohms but please correct me if i am wrong
  12. I agree, you may also want to look at eD NINe.1 if the 1200D seems pricey. If you can afford the 1200D I would opt for it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yeah i think i might get the eD NINe.1 considering that its a good quality amp for the money and puts out the power that i desire
  13. id like to work with about $500 for an amplifier and id like to get a big enough amp so i can run 2 subs off of it, i plan on getting another soundsplinter 12 thats why i picked out such high wattage amps
  14. which amp would you guys reccomend to power my 12" soundsplinter rl-p d2 i was looking at the Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1 but then again i was looking at the Diamond Audio D61500.1 if anybody could lead me in the right direction to what amp would help my woofer sound great just shoot thanks in advance
  15. well i tried fitting some cardboard in my trunk today and i ran into a couple of problems. In my car there are 2 rods that go across my trunk and when they close they push right up agaisnt the cardboard. so i was wondering how i can resolve this ill try to get a couple of pictures up, but the wall is going to be 41" across and it looks like about 22" high but i want the wall to be shaped around my wheel well like in the 2nd picture above
  16. i think im gonna end up getting 2 12" RL-P's and run them with about 500 watts each i really dont feel like upgrading my interiors because my car is a lease so i figure just get the RL-P's with 500 watts each which should match my car perfectly and then when i get my new car which will be much better than my current car i wont mind doing a full audio upgrade edit: what amp would you guys run for 2 12" RL-P's i was thinking the RE 12.1 any other suggesstions? let me know TIA
  17. never thought about using the cardboard thing very clever, sounds good im gonna try doing that today
  18. how much do you think a setup like this would cost i just want a wall going across my trunk (for 2 12" RL-P's) like in the pictures and maybe when i fold down my seats ill put some plexiglass so you can look at the subs but if it costs too much then its out of the question
  19. wow just checked out that Stereo Integrity Mag D2 that thing is EXPENSIVE!!!! im a very indecisive person so, sorry if i get on anybodys nervers here lol but maybe i should get 2 of the new type-r's ?
  20. lets say i get the 2 Focal's which amp would you choose and if i get the RL-P's im only gonna get 1 12" cause i know that it can handle more than enough power that will equal up to the Focals
  21. what amp would you guys run regardless of which subs i get i was looking at a Soundstream Tarantula 880/2 RE 12.1 or a PG Xenon 1200.1
  22. i have looked at the RL-P (when will these be back in stock?) this is another one of my considerations but i was wondering about these focals. I can get 2 of these for $419 w/o shipping and correct me if im wrong but the RL-P's are $430/pair w/o shipping havent heard of Stereo Integrity (website?) how are these subs?
