  1. That's sweet! I'd love to have 6 15s. Wall specs?
  2. I'm sure the email you get with tracking information will let you know..
  3. Great progress. Next in line should be a Zcon

    Welcome
  5. Haha, this isn't what I meant when I told you to come post over in this section. Did you read any of the "attention noobs" threads that are pinned? This section is to introduce yourself, not make the same post in a different area with a different colored font.
  6. Welcome to the forum, post up in the noob forums for an official greeting. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/forum/11-newbie-sign-in/
  7. Couple things to add to your box size/power statements. While a smaller enclosure can take a little more power they don't have the cooling capabilities as a larger enclosure. On the other hand a larger enclosure is more prone to unloading with less power than a optimal/smaller enclosure. As for covering ports, that's most likely with multiple aeros (I don't know what you've seen). The only reason I can see to plug the whole port(s) rather than just cover it would be to displace airspace and change the volume of the box to correspond with the change in tuning. Haven't really looked into it at all, but sounds like a reasonable answer. Not sure where the "dumb" question is though.
  8. Take a razor blade to those corners How do you like the sound and output?

Definitely interesting. Props on being unique, I guess.
  10. More speakers isn't always better. I would suggest putting all the money you would spend on 2 sets of speakers into one really nice set.
  11. Sweet thanks! Would you recommend putting extra glue or anything? or do you think it would be find the way it is? If you have any concerns about air leaks then a bead of silicone on the inside edges wouldn't hurt anything.
  12. Posibilitiy of buying just a set of tweeters?
  13. Look very nice! These will sell out quick, I'm sure.
  14. ??? not picking up what ur layin down Everyone's taste in what sound good may very well be different. I may love them, yet you can get them based on my opinion and hate how they sound.
  15. If it's truly 1.4 ft^3 sealed then you will be fine.
  16. Just look at all those sweet asses. Exactly what I was thinking. Great shot!

You can tune higher and keep the lows. I wouldn't go higher thatn ~35 though. As stated turn the box to fire in the cabin if it's not already. I've seen a few trunk builds with external aeros and the box all the way to the rear of the trunk port towards cabin.
  18. What don't you get? Seems like you are pretty clear on what you're mentioned.
  19. Just because it's rated at a given number doesn't mean that's what they're going to see. Just be careful with the gain and you should be fine. They have an RMS value for a reason.
  20. Build looks great. No matter how long it takes Look forward to progress and pics!
  21. That's what I was thinking!

    Envious of your dustcap.
  23. Would love to get a demo of this truck. Crazy output!
  24. I've got 4 Gcons on a sundown 3k. They love it. Sure I could put a larger amp to them, but there is no need. Subs are stout for sure. Don't second guess their quality just because they're "only" rated for 750 watts.
