  1. here are some battery options I Have a XXXXXXX watt sytem. What battery do I need? - SSA Car Audio Forum SSA.com sells these batteries so you can look the prices up on there for the ones you want (if you go with this company)
  2. DONT x 1000 buy a box you find online for those subs, one or two of them. can't exaggerate that enough. you will want to build your own, or get one built for your application from a pro builder.
  3. isnt performance>price? why would you buy something with low performance? lol x2 on the starter bat. and the volt meter. should be good, just have to get them and see what needs to be done from there.

    loud n' fun
  5. just get the biggest gauge the amp can fit and you will be fine
  6. x2 on the 15" sub. that way you dont have the chance of choking it. be sure to give the port air space to move around into the cabin (assuming you are firing towards the rear of the trunk) what sub/port placement do you want?
  7. Yup, got a huge box of them on order to!!! Andrew keep em' coming!
  8. super clean. nice work still using those sexy terminals?
  9. should beat. congrats on license again.
  10. what power are you trying to send the Xovers?
  11. i've read it a couple times, just not today
  12. what all are you putting together? you make it sound like you're putting the box together lol
  13. same way you would do it on any other car, just different positioning of the components. may get tricky keeping the wires safe and away from moving/hot parts. unless you're asking for specific people who have done it before, i cant help you. get a chiltons or something and study the stock location of the wires and follow those.
  14. might want to define your use of better. the jl might be "better" for him
  15. he cant really give you a shipping quote off of nothing. lol depends on how big/heavy the box weighs, not just location
  16. for a daily groundpounder tune 30-33. the lower you go, the less output but more low end you get, and the higher the more of a fart box you get which yields more output but less low end. so you pick which you want, but a good middle is low thirties hope that helps
  17. Nooooo, install both sets! EDIT: No screws in the box? why both?
  18. Thanks. After I do the 160 at a show, I will add more amps. any new numbers? grats on 160

the cone on the sub looks almost too small haha very nice jeep
  20. looks fun it it just me, the slow camera FPS or do they look a little out of phase? might be the different angle of the far subs than the close ones, can see more excursion im too tired lol

take the sub out, put the box in where you want in and bolt it to the car from the inside of the box. looks cleaner and may help with anything being stolen. amp: considering how nice that box looks you should be able to fab up an amp rack no problem, i have faith
  22. why not buy a battery before an amp and see where you get with that? get a voltmeter and check your voltage as well and then see if you need a new alt. this could be cheaper as well, if you just use a secondary batt (i dont know what you need for a starting battery, so its depending on various things) i recommend just getting the biggest baddest battery that you can afford and stick it under the hood to replace your starting battery. if that doesnt work put the stock one back in and put your big one in back and see if that helps at all. for sure get the big wire, and a must on the big 3, if you havent done it already.

you would have to get a recone to change the VC config. but that can still be looked at as better than buying a whole new sub, so its not really a downside i dont know of any. might as well just in case. and its free! interested if there are any negative side effects to it as well.
  24. you could always go here and get specifics for your sub/load for a second "opinion". hope that helps
