can a dual 2 also run 2 ohms ? i know it can run 1 ohm It can run at 2ohm but each coil is powered by a separate amplifier.

Most likely only tenths of a volt. Sometimes a volt increase but its unlikely. Its not meant to solve all your problems but its always the first place to start. Why get a HO alt or more batteries when your current electrical cant handle the task already?

Leave all stock wires alone. Just add new ones. You can use the alternator bracket for a ground if need be.

i have been tossing up the idea of the big three and i just havent had the time with the weather and how many hours i have been getting at work.... kinda sucks having a job... lol so a factory car is 12.8 or are they 14.4.. the cap i had read 14.4 all the time and is that just the cap holding that much or is that the car? The big 3 is A LOT easier than you might think. A car runs at 14.4 volts, plus or minus a few tenths either way. All cars are different. Do yourself a favor and ditch the cap. Get yourself a digital voltage meter if you want to watch the voltage. Caps are not reliable for measuring voltage. When you introduce amplifiers to the system, thats when cars can dip to 12.8 volts. The draw on the system is why the amps are rated like that.

Try looking at the 12Volt site. They have an excellent wiring diagram software. the12volt.com But yeah, dual 1 ohm can be .5 ohm or 2 ohm. The dual 2 can be 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

If you want sealed and a little more output, look into the SSA drivers too. Excellent SQ and output.

Do the big 3 (look it up) and you should be fine. The amps are rated for 12.8 volts for real world installs. They are designed to make their rated power at that voltage. More voltage increases the power.

Whats the optimum enclosure size for the 21" Warden? Is it on par with the BTL sizes? I figured the Warden would be around 8-12ft3.

BTL's arent big boy? compared to a warden? LOL The warden and the btl are in 2 totally different leagues in my opinion. The warden would compare more the the AA S M D sub or the DC Audio LVL 6. But what would have a greater output? The Warden looks like a beast! I've tried lookin' where to buy an SMD driver but no luck.. I cannot find it on SMD forum.
