  1. both are fairly overkill. the subs are rated at 1k each for a reason. also, are you going to be able to supply these amps with the electrical system necessary? 1 battery in the back is not going to be enough.
  2. i thought u had to have like 50 posts before you can sell something.
  3. start buy telling us the car its going in and what his goals are...loudest possible isnt a very good description. also, rusty (i think thats his name) has said that the lvl 4 xl's are louder up until 2500 rms if i believe.
  4. there used to be a youtube clip of a news channel doing an interview with a guy who ran his taurus wagon off of water and gas. something about burning the vapors of the water
  5. you do know this sub is not made to get stupid loud right? it is more along the lines of a sound quality sub that can pack some output if u do it right.
  6. i think it has alot to do with ur vehicle...not just the box.
  7. check for belt slipping, or ur alt and or batt might b bad.
  8. it really all depends on what sub your going to run.
  9. all of em, make sure u get daily and not spl and dual 2 vc's
  10. get on s. m. d. and check out the tunes...and get all of decaf's zips...he has some badass slowed music, and he tests it on audacity to make sure it doesn't clip.
  11. whoops, my bad...the rings around the first baffle make it look like there is another baffle, but taking a closer look, it is a double baffle with one being the flush mount.
  12. its a double baffle, with a 3rd flush mount baffle.
  13. 1690 Watts 21.4 Amps 78.97 Volts 3.69 ohms Actual with box rise to 3.69 ohms 1690 sounds about right. 3360 Watts 63 Amps 53 Volts 0.85 ohm actual this is wired to .25 ohms, and hit .85 actual.
  14. make sure u have the electrical to back that up...even tho u might not be seeing right at .5 ohms, you will still be drawing a shit load more current than if u were running at 1 or 2 ohms.
  15. never count on box rise when wiring subwoofers for a daily system.
  16. the q is a sound quality driver, not necessarily to get loud, the q is also rated at 1000 watts, where as the bl is also rated at 1000 watts and is designed to get loud.
  17. probably not...might wanna add another batt in the back but try it and keep ur eyes on the voltage gauge.
  18. video wont play for me. not on here or youtube.
  19. generally speaking, making the box smaller decreases efficiency, but increases power handling. try adding 2x4's to the inside of it and see what it does...it cant hurt anything because u could just take them back out if it drops ur numbers.
  20. when im ready to build a computer i will definately get at you. right now im jobless so purchasing stuff is difficult.
  21. lol he better be pretty damn loud lol
  22. i do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
