Just ordered 2 15" fully loaded BTL's. Wondering what to use for power as this will be mainly a SPL application. Using a wall in a extended cab pickup. Box area for subs will be close to 10.5 cubic feet after ports, subs and bracing are subtracted from total box area.

Looks like I will be using a Memphis 4kw on each sub for now, hope to go to 2 4kw's each later. Also thinking of 16 volt charging system and several 16 volt batteries. Subs are dual 1 ohm.

for amps, im a rockford fan, i would go 2 t40001bd's. lotttsss of power and are .5 ohm stable for burps 3secs or less. each sub will see a lil over 5k watts that way! i think you will be impressed. the price is high but you damn sure get what you pay for!

I know what I can get the Memphis 4kw's for and they will run at 16.7 volts and 1/2 ohm. What will the Sundown SAZ-3000D's do and cost for the Sundown amps.

Will these take 16 volts or what is the max voltage and the wattage at max voltage.

Subs came today send order on Sat. very fast and look great can't wait to try.

I'm pretty happy with the memphis 4k amps I have- but those RF birthsheets are almost all way over 4k. Just something to consider.
