Still looking for a 4 channel amp to run an active setup in my friends car. Planning on running SEAS 27TFFNC Tweet and CA18RNX. I saw these amps and thought I should get some opinions from you guys. Here they are.

Soundstream TRA960.4

MB Q RAB 450

PP A600/4

All of these amps are around $250 -325 and is the budget for amps as of now.

Are there any other choices that would be better in this price range? :thanx:

A NOOb question.......Do I need bandpass capability to run active 2-way? This would open up more options if bandpass isn't necessary. :drink40:

What head unit do you have?

You want to run active with a Stock HU?

I think you need to re-evaluate your system right now.

Run 2-way passive for now until you can afford a HU with active crossovers in it.

you need bandwidth for 3 way i belive. for 2 way active you need hp and lp. but for your budget i would get a b stock sundown sax100.4

As to the bandpass question, i wouldn't personally run active without it.

:+1: on all counts
