i dont know,i just read where they say its a problem so i was going to get a new set anyways so i want the best for my amp.any sugestions?thanks

Once you get to a certain price point, there's really no great benefits for going more expensive...

Jim,

Some of the expensive ones don't make good contact with the ground pin for some reason.

The cheapy RCA cables always work :)

before I through the line driver on mine I ran my Stinger experts on the 3000d

i was wondering the same thing, i read that when strapping two 1500's the some RCA's wont work.. i think someone names stinger and some other brand... this was on another topic i was reading.

i know one time i spent a ass load of money on some RCA brand gold plated, tough looking cables.. i mean thay were like 80 bucks... and i had problems bad ground on them sho nuf

I used the cheapies

The Stinger's broke like all hell.

Damn ceramics

Actually cheap for RCAs, relatively speaking :P:

I use cheap ones, many years and never had an issue with one that was not actual damage or wear. I have some normal RCA from 20 years ago that I still use. Maybe I put nicer ones on the amps if someone might actually see one, otherwise I'll spendy on something important that makes system sound better/go louder/etc. I stay away from the super cheap ones of course, the $5 ones.

What I don't like is many newer ones have a huge casing on the plug, and they will not fit into some of my older amps with the RCA terminal inside the amp.

use tsunami installer series work great and don't fall apart at connector. There molded and inexpensive around $7 to $12 depending on length .

i have 3 sets of cheapies running in mine. though for my furture install i'd like to make my own so i can get proper lenghts instead of having additional wire to hide.

How are monster RCA's? I wanna get some of these for my 4 channel amp

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-MONSTER-CABLE-RCA-...0QQcmdZViewItem

and these for my amp

i have a 3.5 to RCA for my ipod hookup from Monster in my car and the exterior wrapping they use is very durable.

the real question........... what does jacob use. obvioussly he'd know which rcas have the most solid connection (excluding locking rca diy cables)

i thought i remember him recommending the esoteric u can find at partexpress.com

mike-

these i think was what he recommended to me for the subwoofer bridge cable when bridging like 1000D's or 1500D's using the coaxial cable they offer in same style.

Yah, the Esoteric work well and look pretty :)

I use all kinds of cheapy Scosche and generic RCAs in my SPL truck, they work great.

WBT Topline connectors :)

i used monster cable RCA's on my 1500D i love them. and ive had them in there for about 4 years now. the wife has some cheap ass knu ones and i wanna rip them out big time.

honestly i would hitup the knukonceptz loc rca end connectors for 10 for 4 and buy some nice canare star quad and tech flex and have urself an unbeatable rca for around 25$

Long time ago I found some that were plain but had gold connectors and thick wire, they were like $3 each so I bought a box full and none since. This spring I got some scosche twisted looking ones with my wiring kit at walmart, they seem to be ok.

how hard is it to cut lengths and resolder the connectors they provide u? i ordered 3x 4m karmas for my brother 350z, along with some idq's, dls iridiums, custom kicks by bing, =] should be nice.
