Just as the title states... Who wins in terms of SQ? In my eyes, the prices are comparable, and I've heard good about both. I'm leaning towards going with the USamps XT series over the GTO's... One major issue that shouldn't be so major is the looks... The GTO's a gawdy, and the XT's are plain & simple.

Any thoughts or input on the comparison?

Both quality pieces. The rest of the install will make a way bigger difference.

I concur. I ran them for almost a year and never had any issues. 4000d ran cool as a cucumber and put out decent power for the $.

I like both JBL and US Amps, but I feel the XT is a very attractive old school looking amp with good standard features and manageable foot print. Depending on my money left over from holiday shopping, I might grab a 1600.4 for myself in my daily scooter.
