So... we shredded one of my MT 18s last night. Pics coming soon when my camera phone charges up :)

We played the truck almost all night and finally one gave out!

Time for nightshade 18s?

I won't have enough left for me after the Team guys get them. I plan to re-build the wall for different size woofers anyhow :)

I'd really like to figure out why my tire is wearing unusually on the truck before I drive it too far as well.

Cool, I've known David Moore since before he worked at RE. Back when he lived near Memphis. He is a good guy and sent me recones for my old MT's just a couple months ago. Good cones. I like them.

Have you heard that one of your 3000D's just ate up a TC sounds 18" 5400 ???

Bruddah was doing a 151 on a TL @ 35 freakin hz

did a 150 at 30hz...

2 sundown 3000D's on 2 18" TC sounds and it sounded freaking animal....

I hope Jordan takes pics of it..... It looks almost as bad as your MT

We were at my shop around 11PM metering in the lot....

He went to demo it for a new installer at the shop and BAGANG

We all started going nuts crazy laughing (witnessing a 3000D shred a TC sounds 5400 and beer will do that to you)

It's a 4th order -- so the rear chamber pretty well keeps it under mechanical control (10 cubes for four 18s).

Just a matter of too much abuse over time I think :)

And btw, have your alignment checked, if one tire is wearing unusually. And tire pressure, if you haven't tried that, but I'm sure you have. :) Since you have a lot of weight in the back, try checking the wear pattern. You want the contact patch of the tire to be flat. With the additional weight, but stock tire pressure, the center of the contact patch may tend to curl upwards, putting all the wear on the outsides of the patch. I hope thats clear. :) A picture of the uneven wear may help.

I gotcha, I do plan to get alignment checked. It is just one front tire and the pressure is higher than stock.

it was actually a tc sounds 5200...it was the junk ti/alum hybrid cone but my ti cone is completely fine...the coil isnt burnt and the spiders didnt stiffen up just the cone shattered...i can still play it with no cone haha but no sense...my new top assemblies should be here soon...but yah atleast i managed a 151 at 35hz...just to bad the cone popped...but nice cone jacob...i bet that added about a db or 2...
