Posted September 15, 200420 yr Two 12" RL-p's (ported) or two 15" RL-p's sealed. I am planning to do a 1.5 cube ported to around 32-34 hz. The two 15"S will be in a 2 cube box. I will buy tonight, weather/internet connection permitting.
September 15, 200420 yr Admin BG you have always seems more the SQ guy so from what I have read you should love these subs, I say go for the 12s ported
September 15, 200420 yr I havent heard either, but I voted 15s sealed because you always have the option of going ported or switching to one 15. I have a reg cab s10 and ill be porting two of the Rl-p 12s. Just want you to know that either way you go, they are great subs and Mike (the owner of the company) is an awesome guy to deal with. If you have any questions he'll answer them usually in less than 24 hrs.Good luck!!Tom
September 16, 200420 yr I sugguest using a much bigger box than 2 cubic feet if your using 15's.Maybe 4-5 Cubic feet for each woofer is you want them lows. I would go 33hz at a 10.3 cubic foot box.
September 18, 200420 yr Author that's one to one so far. Doesn't help much <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I have decided to go with the 15"s sealed. The box recommendation was based off of Mike's (from soundsplinter) recommendation plus the website's recommendation based on power since I am feeding each 800 RMS.
September 18, 200420 yr Author I got that amp way back when they had pre-orders for it. Their old database got wiped out so they lost my order. They were good enough to tell me they were sorry and sold a new one to me for only 250 I was like.... yippee i waited 6 months for it and got it for 100 bux less B) RE has some great service Oh and I wanted some trunk space myself in case i needed to actually put something in my car or get the spare tire out. I gotta see how these 15"s perform since i haven't actually seen anyone with em out there

October 1, 200420 yr Author They are pretty sturdy, not as heavy as my ol' Brahma but yet to be able to test em. I luv the smooth simplistic cone.
