So, i was on 2 events yesterday

my setup was 2 optimas, one in front, one in back

2/0 wiring between the bats and to the amp

1 Sundown SAZ3k on 1 RE SX12 D2

first event

1st place DB Cup Beginner D with 144,5Db

2nd place DB Drag Street C with 144.5DB

2nd place Bassrace with a 129.6 (first try ever)

2nd event

1st place Beginner D with a 145,2DB

2nd place Street C with a 144,6DB

everything legal at the windshield meterd with termlab

next event in 1 week, try to work on the port and see if i can do any better

but that would cost me more than i could spend atm

hotel, gas, starting fees etc.

but friend of mine maybe would start with my 2 3kw's at the world finals (if that would be ok with you jacob?)

yea i was realy happy about the score

it was 143,5 with the sx12 on the ppi pcx2400 (1600watt)

put the box in, sundown on, first try 144,5

after some testing with the box position it was a 145,2 with fully charged batterys

pics comin tomorrow, but its pretty much a crappy box with amp on top in the trunk

will round the edges of the port this week and try to resin the box, see if that helps any

very nice, but judging by your burps and your bassrace score id say you need a better electrical or a better song and youll be hitting at least 140 on bassrace..

it was my first bassrace ever, and since i heard the sub hitting the "endstops" all the time and didnt want to blow the sub b4 the 2nd event, i was going the safe way in the 129.9 class

song was bow wow - big dreams, only song i had with me that realy had a constant hitting bass

the 145.2 was realy "Luck"

inside of the car was ice cold, cooled down voicecoil, fully charged batteries and 2 guys holding my trunk down

2nd run after that was "only" a 144,7

btw, the sx realy doesn't like 3kw at all

but it still plays, n plays, n plays

jacob, would it be possible to get recones for SX motors from you? i still got 2 laying arround...
