Posted October 2, 200816 yr http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/01/pariss-...icially-reveal/"Lamborghini has spent the last few weeks tantalizing us with teasers of its front-engine, four-door concept, but that comes to an early end today as a French website has unceremoniously revealed the concept we've been calling the Estoque. Though the images in our gallery are low-res, we can still make everything out. The Estoque features a long hood and short rear deck, with horizontal headlights up front and a pair of big Reventon-style air intakes in the front bumper. The fender vents behind the front wheels are tucked into the car's character line that flows back until it hits those wide rear haunches. Thanks to those teasers we had already figured out what the rear end would look like, and all those guesses were fairly spot on. The rumormills are telling us to expect the 560-hp V10 from the Gallardo LP 560-4 underhood, as well as all-wheel-drive. Though it's showing up as a concept at the Paris Motor Show tomorrow, the Estoque is said to be destined for production as early as 2010 to compete with the new crop of four-door coupes from Porsche (Panamera) and Aston Martin (Rapide). We'll have live shots from the official unveiling early tomorrow morning, so stay tuned. "

October 2, 200816 yr Yuck, but then it is only a concept. Many things will change when production begins.

October 3, 200816 yr yall crazy! that is a nice looking car. in person is probably even better. if i pull up in it ur girl will hop on asap!
October 3, 200816 yr Admin I actually like it. I know it is not what the purists like or want, much in the same vein when Porsche released the Cayenne. But Lamborghini needs to find another way to stay profitable. And yes, people are going to react with the notion that they already ask insane rates for their current cars, but when not many are sold....In the end I am surprised they did not want to release a more main stream car priced well below 100k. Something to go after the Cayman/Boxster segment that would make them a number of sales in a hurry. I know Ferrari is too arrogant and pompous to ever release anything smaller or slower then the F4xx model that the masses could possibly afford. So this could be a thing of Lamborghini following suit. Ferrari did have a 4 door years back, but it did not last long.
October 4, 200816 yr Well, Lamborghini did build a truck, I can't say it's the craziest thing they've ever done
October 6, 200816 yr Admin Well, Lamborghini did build a truck, I can't say it's the craziest thing they've ever done Very true, but it did not sell much.
October 23, 200816 yr I think it's dumb.ya, it really doesnt measure up to the awesomeness that is the tbird, huh?Yep, you're right. Let's not make comparisons here, I'm aware of what the bird is. I just don't picture a sedan when I think Lambo. It's the same with Ferrari.
October 23, 200816 yr Well, Lamborghini did build a truck, I can't say it's the craziest thing they've ever done Very true, but it did not sell much. lol you know what they did before exotics, right???on the concept...i love it, of course it's a bit out there because its a concept but i would definitely drive the hell out of it

October 23, 200816 yr dont get me wrong i love lambos and stuff, but they really have to stop sharing parts from the audi bin. they're swapping that v10 around from car to car like a damn prostitute. great engine and all but if i were to pay 200 000+doll hairs for a car it better not share 1 single button from its lower sibbling company...and lambos are know to share audi interior parts from audi... i feel like it makes the car superficial.
