You told me that my SAE-1200D would not go "Thump" when powering down and you held true to that.

Absolutely no noise what so every. It is perfect and for that, I thank you.

BUT....as for the power rating I have to call BS. No way no how.

I turned this thing on and it scared the chit out of me.

I'm running two sealed 12" TC-9's and I thought they were going to fly out of the box.

I had always felt happy with my Hifonics 1606D with it's 1600 watt rating but this 1200 puts it to shame.

I was running the Hifonics at 3/4 gain and the 1200D is at 1/3 gain and I'm still turning my processor levels down.

With my upgraded Alternator my voltage stays at 14.4 even at an idle so I know this puppy is producing much more than 1200 watts.

As always I am more than impressed and extremely happy with this purchase.

Maybe you should put a warning label on this one for those of us with weak hearts.

Damn good job my man. :drink40:

well the 1200 was putting out 1500 watts in testing! ....

why would a sundown have a turn off thump? too much class for that..

It is a solid unit, now more people need to find out about it.

Awesome. Now prove you have one and show some pics... ;)

Well this is the best I could do with it being dark outside and the way my amp rack is set up.

My 100.2 on top, 100.4 in the middle and the new 1200D on the bottom.

You forgot to mention VERY competitively priced against other amps in its "league".

speaking of "turn-off pop", what causes that. my 1500d just started to do that outa the blue a couple of weeks ago. the only thing that changed is i tested a woofer @1 ohm that i bought to make sure it worked. after that i put my normal sub in @2 ohm, now i gots the pop's. :(

so i should order the N-807 right? or would the N-68 do better? thanks.

sweet. thanks jacob.

to the OP. love the amp rack. what kinda electrical do you have to back up all that power?

i hooked up my remote turn on to a toggle switch...

sometimes a relay will help, just asking is your H/U a pioneer? is your processor turning on before or after your amps?

use this as a reference to wire the relay

87 12v (constant)

86 to ground

85 from H/U or source unit

30 to all your amps remote input (turn on)

87a not used

I relay should always be installed on the remote wire

Good option too unless you forget to turn it off *laughs* I have done that before in an old install of mine!
