I love 'em, but its time for something new, I want to see what else I can find that I like better. I love listening to my BIB's more, but lord knows they won't fit downstairs. I am looking to see if I can find something more dynamic but yet keeping the size down somewhat (not sure if this is possible, but hey, I can try). The room is to small for a double horn I have discovered so the frugal horn spawn I was looking at is out, I've already built a BIB, so these are the next options.

Theres just something about full range that sounds so damn good.

Anyone have a better idea than about than 10 or so of these bolted to a little board for a distribution box in the basement?

Thanks for the link, Steve has already done a few though at least it IIRC from reading lots of posts. I didn't realize they were smaller, but while those guys whine about the first gear I love it as it will allow me to run a really docile rear end and still have all the RPM's necessary to launch effectively.

Drove the sled to work today, what a difference!

5:15 in the am, I-95 south coming through the Harbor tunnel at a hair over 80mph;

a lowered and seriously boosted Dodge Ram with what seemed like 5 gauges in a A-pillar stack, wanted to race. That truck was faster then I thought, almost piercing turbo whine and massive amount of black smoke. Took me a bit to run him down. That was fun, never happens in the lil' ole' trusty scooter.

Wish I could spam it up for a while.

Got to drive my aunt's 04 golf tdi (the 100hp version).

Pretty sucky compared to dad's dub. Managed to stall it 3 times when trying to move it slowly in 2nd, thing which never happened in the mk4.

And it's got the stupid dual mass flywheel like the mk4 used to have.
