  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

saw an impala ss for sell in good ole baytown

looked in pretty good condition!

Time to go back out and cuss the damn things.

So make the fiberglass pod attached to the inner metal panel and have the door panel fit over it

People will probably disagree with me, but it is the way I would do it if my goal was IB.

fuck this shit

that is all

Its like the ass end isn't getting power, but I can't find a blown fuse or anything. Fucking hate electrical gremlins.

PITA tracing the wires too. Lucky mine was just from the engine bay to the fog lights - turned out some sort of little critter had chewed through the wires.

Good gawd, some "installer" over here starts making a big fuss about how important are caps in an "SQ" sistem, commenting that it helps dynamics and volume linearity. Placebo effect at it's greatest.

How in the world would a cap have an effect on dynamics ?

I bring out technical arguments only to get a reply that he also has arguments but won't post. And proceeds to threaten with a ban.

Jim, if you go check out the 240D, check for rust in the floor board and door sill areas. If it is rust free and is a good price, I would jump on it. You can't kill that car if you tried. But just don't expect to having blazing acceleration. I have wanted one for a while now, but have not found one that did not need some rust repair that I could afford. Comfort, class, diesel, manual, all sound good to me. :)

Side note, we won our game last night. Pulled off what turned out to be an upset, everyone including the ref's were expecting the other side to take it. As I have moved into my 30's, and we have a few guys who have moved into my old roll, I have been usually tasked with guarding the better players on the other team who are usually lighter in stature. Because as long as I can keep pace with them, they can't push me around like they are used to and it throws them off bad. :)

Piece of pucking chit, can't find a god damn thing wrong other than the mother f'ing lights don't work.

A few weeks ago my brake light switch went out. I think my rear blinkers kept working though. You can check it, though, by just pushing up on the sensor that's on the brake pedal to see if that turns your rear brake lights on.

Gonna have to check our wireless router tonight after work. Haven't had internet at my computer at home in 2 days. I hate wireless routers. They need reset like every month.

Lawrence got lucky with the storms last night, as we just got heavy rain. There was a small, 10 second tornado that touched down about 10 miles east of town though. I thought the whole line of thunderstorms was just going to move northeast over us very slowly because that had been its pattern, but once it hit us it decided to blow east more. That was lucky.
