Friend broke her inside door handle off in her Toyota Corolla last night, I found it hilarious but she didn't find it as funny as I did... Now I get to find a new door handle and rip the fricking door panel off and fix the damn thing.

  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Yeah, I know I should step out of the car to take a picture, but wth at least I posted some.

clean ur drive way lol

It was clean about 3 hours before. Look around at the trees, I have to clean it everyday for the next month and even then by the time you are done blowing it off it is covered again.

I mean hell, me being here isn't to much of an incentive. But if you do come here I'll imagine you'll be at Ft. Riley so you'll be living in Manhattan/Junction City area so you'll be right around me.

*edit* What'll you be doing in Leavenworth?

Same bullshit job as here.

And Fort Riley would be an idea, but honestly after visiting 2 years ago.........and my new NCOIC being there last.......nah i will pass.

And as for the German beer, that is a draw, but going someplace where I don't pretty much immediatly go to Iraq is more of a draw. Plus I could of gone to Germany earlier this year.

Yeah......Ft. Riley sucks. Junction City (which it is near) is, IMO, the worst city in kansas. Leavenworth would be better, but you have to realize that there is a maximum security prison there. Those types of towns usually have a different air about them. However, I don't know if you have to live on the base or not, but Leavenworth is in a decent part of the state so you could take your pick from a bunch of nice places within a 30 minute drive of there. Plus it's right outside of Kansas City, so you have lots to do there. This is my neck of the woods, btw, I only live about 30 miles from Leavenworth.

Hawaii would be really nice, but expensive. Median income is about 10k more than the rest of the country. Florida has good parts and bad. I'll let those who live there chime in (if anybody does, haha). I've been there once, to Orlando, and I thought it was pretty cool. All tropical and lush and exciting. But I was just visiting, so not sure how it would be living there. And it does have some pretty bad parts. I just read an article today that the panhandle of Florida is like the center of sex trafficking in the US. Where people kidnap teens mainly, gang rape and beat them, and sell them to people in other states as a sex slave. Well, that sure paints a nice picture, doesn't it.

I don't know much about Alabama other than I believe it's one of the poorest states in the US.

Well as I said before, I visited Riley before and it was just horrible. I detested it. Leavenworth is where a few friends live, and they don't mind the prison at all. Hell 2 of them are guards there.

Hawaii is where the GF last lived before here. she loved it and wouldn't mind going back. I have never been and could use a perminant vacation. Plus we get 'bonus' money aka COLA.

Florida is where my brother lives. (Tampa) and its where the base i might be able to go to is.

lastly Alabama is poor as shit, but yet again its where her family is and if the woman can be a little happier then I am all for it.

Hell I may even end up at hood. (near Killean and Waco Texas) Thats NOT someplace I am anxious to go to, but some good friends are going there.

come on out to southern calif, there's never poor weather and it is always 75-85 deg here in santa barbara. we get an earthquake once every 10 years or so but it won't affect you unless you're driving on a bridge or live on a fault.

ugh, giving advice to the gf is impossible, typical female already "knows" everything

it my gfs best friend that I deal with for that. She is a GREAT woman. But you cannot give advice.

told her she was heading down a hard path with htis guy she is dating and she said that she "welcomes all knowledge" and wants to learn about his point of view and everything.

I feel bad for 2 reasons. She is one of my oldest friends and my wifes best friend, and she won't listen to either of us because she is interested in a guy, and he is involving her in his life. She could at least trust the people who she lives with, and has known for over a decade. Reason number 2 is it's a complete cop out to say all knowledge and experience is good.

If I could move to San Diego and do what I do and bring all things SSA and Amanda and Arthur with, I would do it. :)
