Now thats a tough landing :roflmao:

:woot: New sub-panel running 220v in the garage. The Unisaw will finally get fired up one of these days. Now what to build first?

Let's see, I need to build a bed, kitchen table, two dressers, and the cabinets for HT. I'll be over in 5 hours.

You plan on driving fast obviously :P

Sean, since you brought up good mic's, are there any affordable alternatives that have a good repeatability ? I don't want to borrow a termlab all the time for testing and just need to know if a modification hurt the score or helped the score.

Affordable = in the $200 range

For what purpose?

Just got the paper work in the mail from the insurance company showing the cost of the knee surgery. Coming in just shy of $12k, I wonder under this new version of health care, would I have been able to see my surgeon as fast as I did or would it have been many more months until I could, or would it mean I would have had to gone with a lesser one..... I have heard all the heart breaking stories about people being dropped from their health insurance due to costs or conditions, my father was one of them.

:trippy:

For 12k I'd expect a NEW knee

hell its 20k for Memorial Hermann to LifeFlight you

Funny story; we recommended the orthopedic surgeon who fixed my leg to a family friend on Wednesday; they called them early Thursday morning and were told they could come in that day or the day after, or Saturday morning for that matter.

I should add that we only have to pay $212 out of pocket.

It was done at a private surgery center by one of the best on the east coast. So his prices are some what higher then normal.

For the post-op hospital stay?

For measuring the sound pressure level in the car, a replacement for the termlab which I'm using now.

That along with the $212 out of your pocket makes the whole thing sound much better :)

Fantasy baseball draft yesterday was a blast. I had never done one before so I didn't know what to expect, but I stole some players near the end.

My NCAA bball tourney brackets are doing well also. If Duke beats West Virginia, I get 1st (out of 33) in my office pool. If they lose I still get 2nd. So I'll get either 100 or 20 bucks, entry fee was 5 bucks. I'm also in a bigger pool that cost like 25 bucks, winner gets a grand, 2nd place gets 300. I can get 2nd place out of 75 if, again, Duke beats West Virginia. But Duke would then have to lose in the Championship to either Butler or Mich. St. since nobody picked either of those two to win it all but 3 people picked Duke. I think I'd get 5th if Duke won it all, which is just out of the money I believe.

Keep the termlab. There is no such thing as an affordable mic that will measure the levels you are describing. They'll start around $8k.

New windshield on the expy!! hopefully no more cabin leaks.

Now I need to find a GEM on the cheep, or somehow clean mine out and hope it's not 100% fubared.

I'm going to have to start cracking on the miss fire then. At least it's cyl# and that's up front instead of the hidden bastards in the back.

Ryan do you have a COP brand that you like? Just incase it is a bad COP. Even thought I just replaced them?

I'm also kinda excited I think I'll be getting one of these.

SCT Automotive Performance Products

Random observation: They do not make slip resistant work boots in 12 EEEE with composite toe. At least I haven't found one...
