Great people are never forgotten. My grandfather passed away tuesday, he was pretty old and had beat cancer 15 years ago but couldn't this time. He didn't wake up tuesday.

I lost my Grandmother a while back to cancer, that struggle was horrible. My grandfather was quick, here one day, gone the next. Those two people gave me many memories that I pass on to my kids as stories. I have been blessed to have a great family life.

My Ex wife's grandfather died last week, he was closing in on 90. He was a true man. He lived his life as if spoke about it. Honest and true. I would sit with him for hours and talk about his childhood in Kansas. The depression years and everything in between then and now. This man was not blood to me, but he did hold a very special place in my heart. He had on many occasions say I was his favorite grandchild.

I haven't experienced the pain of the loss of a grand parent, but I also have never have gotten to experience the memories of a grandpa (and one grandma) as 3 of 4 of my grandparents passed before I was born.

Looks like it IS meant to be. Verbal agreement with the sales guy on the phone. Approval from my boss and our lease company.
