  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

If you want to party UBER cheap, then Fargo ND. And yes there are 3 year olds that can drink you under the table there.

Sounds VERY similar to Buffalo, NY on that note.

As for the whole Euro whores comment.........Yes they reign supreme. God knows we get plenty of Joes who bring them back with them.

Mark is at CES right now, and I am again stuck here. I am so fucking sick of not being able to travel. Good news is, I have already begun the process to fix that.

Aaron, if you want to go next year I'll make a pact and split a room with ya. I've been wishin' and hopin' and dreaming to go to CES for years.

Mark and I plan to probably both go next year, maybe we can get a bunch of us together and get a schnazzy suite (ala hangover sans tiger). ;)

I would be totally down, how much do ces passes cost?

Team SSA get together?!

Don't know the cost off hand and it could change for next year.

Who's the one getting stuck on the roof?

Not it.

1) Arizona has the easiest college chicks

2) The sports teams are the best in the south east. TEXAS DOES NOT COUNT

3) Best ski weather is in Colorado

4) Florida has the best part locations without being buggy as shit

Questions answered.

J

I don't know.

Coming from Europe...

I'd pick the East Coast as it actual has a semblance of culture or history. Boston in particular is a hoot. If you are outdoor-zy further North

Or a real city, like Chicago

If CO, I recommend Boulder

If it has to be CA, make it the Bay Area...or similar in Oregon.

There is only one city in Texas and its Austin. Texans may say its not Texas though.

Florida pretty much sucks

North Carolina can be a win as well.

The other thing you left off about the South is by far it has the laziest, most redneck, and despicable humans in the country. Avoid it like the plague. Worth a visit, but not a place to study. I'd also skip New York. If that is your thing, go to Tokyo instead. WAY better.

Loads of very good schools in MD. ;)

You raise valid points Sean. The reson for my suggesting these areas is due to the diversity of these areas. He seems to have an idea of what the states may be like and I figure why not give him some of the red-neck fun and or slutty chicks.

But still, your points are much better than mine.

As for skipping New York, if its the city you mean by that then sure. The rest of the state can be okay. Is it always exciting and tons of shit to do? Not really but damn if I dont love it.

J

Your post was in terms of an American perspective, Sean's was more in terms of a European one. Adrian is clearly very intelligent and I think would be best served in a very well established school up here in the NE, plus the weather is much closer to his. Though I would have loved to have done a semester at UNLV or ASU with a truck load of rubbers in tow. Here in this area, Johns Hopkins is very international along with Loyola and College Park, then going up the coast there is most certainly UPenn, Princeton, UCONN etc. I think would be excellent to look at, pending the $$$.

If you just want to party, Madison WI works. There are 10 year olds there that can drink you under the table.

Haha, I was just thinking about Wisconsin and maybe Michigan. But damn, too cold for me.

Most importantly, what are you looking at getting your masters in? Engineering? Business? Applied Science?

MN >> both

And as for the too cold, not sure I understand that one. Where you are isn't so much different. Sure the brutal days are less brutal, but you don't notice the difference so much.

The East coast is what I have heard is a good place for foreigner. But I don't feel I'm in a position to be very picky :)

Now, if I manage to get some kind of scholarship AND do well in school, the big plan is to stay in the US and work in the field. But I don't know how that goes. Lots of unknowns for me, which is why I need to get my thoughts clear and ask some good questions.

Most importantly, what are you looking at getting your masters in? Engineering? Business? Applied Science?

I should be graduating Computer Science this summer so I believe Engineering covers it.

Ok, I'll make an appropriate post, in the *right* section, with all the questions.

pshhhhh Michigan all the way man! :fing34:

Michigan Tech has a rather renowned CS program!

It would more likely be a Master of Science degree of some sort
