So when you order something and they give you a delivery date, then 2 weeks later give you a delivery range (3pm est - 7pm est) and it is now 9pm est, what are you supposed to think?

You're supposed to think you should not have ordered something from Kevin@ Skar.

They never showed up, I will be pitching a stinker on the phone on Monday to get some delivery costs back.

Fuck you and your ability to eat pastries!

Seriously. I LOVE Oreos, and Gavin had some today and I about died just smelling them. This shit sucks!

I feel for you. If it helps, I don't eat pastries due to the calories.

Aaron I will be coming your way in 2 weeks and I was wondering if Vaccaro's is a place you would recommend to go for pastries?

Yes, very good.

Thanks Aaron.

I am hoping to get the family down a day early to explore the Inner Harbor area. Is there anything there that is a must see or do? My kids are 14 and 17, but I am taking my other little ones who are 2 and 5.

The little ones will like the Aquarium, the older ones will like the Science center. Both are in the inner harbor and walking distance from each other. Both are touristy, but still worth a visit. ESPN Zone is gone. There are a bunch of shops and such right there. If you want something really interesting, go a little outside the inner harbor on Key Highway (not really a high way, just a road that runs on the west side of the inner harbor) and check out the Visionary Art Museum. If you need more ideas, or are down there and are lost, give me a ring. :)

HA! I'm pretty pleased with the VVX subs but the box he sent me is garbage, total pos. I had to seal it up myself (there was no sealant at all and some one-eighth or slightly bigger gaps on nearly every joint), terminal cup is barely held in, port sucks (1" wide) and the baffle flexes like crazy even with 300 rms subs in it getting maybe 100-150 watts each. :suicide-santa:

Sorry to hear that. :(

You would be if you did hear it lol. I'm getting noise at slightly higher volume as well, I'm not sure exactly what it is but it definitely sucks. I can't even play close to full tilt.

Are you allergic to wheat? Ouch, I've tried gluten free food. It did NOT taste the same to me.

I have celiac disease which is essentially a gluten intolerance. I can not ingest, or sometimes even come in contact with wheat, oats, barley, rye, and malt.

I have no doubt the subs are good. Jacob designed them, so they're an extension of him. Kevin wouldn't have a clue on subwoofer design. He's a douche, always will be. When you scam people several times, get busted on it every time and still don't have the steelies to man up, you're worthless, and then you still continue to be a douche.

Your enclosure is a prime example. Subwoofers, designed by Jacob, built by the buildhouse. The only real hand Kevin had was a small initial investment and some creative marketing. The enclosure is 100% Kevin and what do you have, a POS enclosure. If you were running that business, would you really let that enclosure go out the door to the customer? It has YOUR name on it and it's shit, so that mean's you're shit. Put two and two together and what do you have?

Sorry to hear that. Those last ones would be rough. Unless you prefer liquor I guess.

Aside from that he has some questionable people endorsing his product. I'm sure the subs are good, but I'd have trouble buying from him.

I have noticed more and more foods that are gluten free and they don't tast any different (at leastto me).

Maybe Oreos will be next.

Can I have your taste buds? I have yet to taste something that DOES taste the same.

My diet is pretty bland for the most part, I may not notice the taste as much.

Would have to sit down and think/draw some ideas.

Got an inch to do a new case mod. :peepwall:

What have you got in mind?

I need to get my other laptop's fixed.

$hit!! TOP

I only stayed in one year, and at VaTech you don't declare a discipline until your 2nd year (so i was general engineering).

I was debating between chemical and mechanical, probably should have stuck with it in hindsight as the reasons I switched were more because of bad advising and a bad engineering fundamentals teacher (who was also my advisor...lol)

I don't think I would have enjoyed the work though, i'm more of a mechanic than an engineer but at least I wouldn't struggle like a mofo for a job.

Either CE and ME would have been a great way to go. If you had stayed in that field I would have been able to offer some help in your job search.

you can offer me some in about 10 months if you want :) ME w/ an MS here

FOOD!!!!!

My monday hasn't started yet............Thank God.
