It helps immensely if the professor and book are both shitty. My first semester in college i had general chemistry with a professor that expected you to know all this shit already from highschool. He didnt follow the book very well and explained everything in a different way than the book. I got the schaums and worked a bunch of problems for each test. The class started out with about 100 students we finished with 12 lmao! 2 A's, one was me :D

Awesome. Once I get the hang of it, I'm good. But that initial learning is extremely difficult when it's not actually taught.

My teacher literally skips slides, starts problems, works half way through then stops and goes to next slide.

I go through this all the time -

"You should have done this in high school"

"You should remember this from high school"

"If you would have paid attention in high school, you would know this"

Bitch, had I gone to high school, I would know this shit and wouldn't have to ask.

man seems like most teachers are like that, just to damn lazy to give a shit lol. It helps to learn to teach yourself, its like any skill, you can improve at it.

Must be tough bro, why didnt you go to highschool?

I dropped out my Sr year in HS. I had offers to go to international bus school in HI and some other schools.

Dropping out was the single worsted mistake I ever made. It didn't ruin my life but it stopped a lot of progress.

I was in the in the top 370 or so for math nationally. I made some big mistakes.

:)

I just take it one day at a time. :)

I quit after 8th grade and went to work. I have 0 high school credits. I went and took some placement tests at the college ~5 years later and went there for 3 semesters. I took a semester off, went and took the GED test (this thing is a joke). I started working again and my 1 semester vacation turned into 7 years. I'm back in school again now and only need to take a couple more classes to graduate.

I might miss The Walking Dead tonight and I don't have DVR :( I hate homework

That's only if you were lucky enough to have chemistry available in high school

What I really hate is not having DVR

Can't you catch it on Hulu??

I don't even have cable/satellite tv.

Ag Science is still the best course I had in high school; we were one of only a handful of Texas high schools that had comprehensive meat processing as part of the course. Local ranchers would "donate" one of their herd for us to kill, process and pack. We got an education, they got an animal processed for free.

That is awesome, more schools should have something like this.

I didn't think it was on there. I planned on either catching the rerun sometime

IIRC they do, Usually newer episodes will come 2-3 days after it airs.
