Hey Sean (and any other possible Global phone users). HTC unlocked the bootloader of the HTC Rezound which has global radios. Someone bought one and was able to put in a T-Mobile SIM card and use it right away without having to unlock the radios as well.

I don't know what this would mean for the average global user (I have no experience in how that works) but the Rezound is 10x the phone that the Droid 2 Global is and also has a much better camera.

Your timing ROCKS. Was at Verizon asking for a 4G world phone yesterday...

The HTC Fireball should come out this year, but that is really all I know.

im about to order a droid 3 for myself. its global ready but only has 3g.

4g IMO if you don't live in/near a large city it won't be worth it.. I think I had 4g maybe 20% of the time on ATT/Sprint. Plus you have to pay extra for something you probably won't get.

Works here pretty well and if you look at the top 20 mostly populated metropolitan areas in the US that is where I spend 95% of my time when in the US. 4g is also rather useful in Japan and throughout plenty of Asia. Amusing that you are in MO and with Sprint and it doesn't, rofl.

4g on Verizon is MUCH more widespread and faster. I get speeds that are double my home connection speeds consistently. 4G LTE and a Dual core phone have made web browsing pleasurable on my Galaxy Nexus.

Fuckin Uppers. I don't want to drive that far!

But it's melting like hell now! So tired of this bipolar weather! We had windchills of negative 28 degrees last week and now it's almost forty today!

If I'm in Kansas City I would get it pretty much everywhere.. but as soon as I would step foot into my house it would be 0 bars of 4g.

I worked at a new school in Beaumont Tx today and the teachers are allowed to paddle middle shcool kids with a wooden paddle. craziest shit i even seen.

reminded me of dazed and confused

Standard issue for the schools I attended; you either got the paddle or they stuck you in SAC. Fun times.

unreal. im originally from the west coast where its iilegal to spank your own kids. Teachers here give them licks with a board.

I wouldn't of lasted very long at those schools.

They whoop 'em here too unless you don't want them to. I think it's good, they need their asses whooped when they fuck up.

I used to think that way, but my son does NOT respond to spanking. Many times he laughs at me. Hell, I end up hurt more than he does. He absolutely detests standing in the corner though. That usually works unless he's a sleepy crab.

I did the same to my parents...sometimes I wonder how I wasn't drowned as a child. So long as they feel like their getting punished, though, that's all that matters.

I'm lucky. So far, his behavior is AWESOME! The only time I really have an issue with him is when he's super tired or when I first get him from his mother who knows absolutely NOTHING about discipline.

Most of the women I know don't know shit about discipline at all. My GF, for example, coddles all of her animals when they're babies, then when they're old and still misbehave, she gets pissed off because they don't listen to her. Meanwhile, I try to train them when they're young and she gets on my case for being "mean." Her entire family is like that, half the animals end up given away or put down (because they bit someone). Most of the young mothers I know let their children do whatever the fuck they want and some of the ones who now have teenagers now are just completely lost. One of the mothers I speak of had her kid over at my place and he poked the dust cap in on my speaker, so I slapped his hand and yelled "no" at him. His mother got all pissed off because I shouldn't be punishing him because he "doesn't know any better" and I "could have broken his hand" and I "probably scarred him for life." Of course he doesn't know better, you haven't taught him shit, lady! The kid was like 5 or 6 at the time, too. We're not talking a 1-year-old here.

It's no wonder our world is so fucked up.

I've seen that with my aunt for the last few years, just had a kid. She gives her anything she wants, cries for no reason other then attention, and if I ignore her then I'm bad and mean. She'll drop something off her table, I'll pick it up and give it back, she'll throw it off, I'll tell her no, then she'll cry.

She's 2ish, I don't remember. It's been pretty cool to see her change so quickly, like I can actually talk to her and do shit, before she was just a crying warm lump.

Fucking eyeball won't stop twitching, been like this the entire day. Got enough sleep, not stressed, lacking minerals? :WTFBubble:

I get that from time-to-time as well. Drives me fucking nuts. I've narrowed it down to caffeine.

I know you guys are tires of me posting shiz but I found out I can access out schools open access lab on my tablet (and my laptop) and access a nice computer with all the programs I can't afford.

Also, I got a Logitech Revue with Google TV and it rocks if I didn't mention it. It's pretty nice to type in a movie/show and have Google TV searches my Cable, Netflix, Amazon prime etc... at the same time.

The best part is the keyboard hand down though. A nice, small, keyboard with trackpad is perfect for couch browsing.
