I am buying a 55-60 tv in the next week or so. This on looks like a good choice. They weren't out of stock online the other day when I was looking. I bet the free shipping had something to do with that.

You guys think the LED is worth the extra cake?

Yes led is the way to go, you will like it.

Just my 2cents, maybe for a bit more the 65 may be the way to go if you have the room.

Just *ahem* obtained an unmastered copy of "Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication". It sounds perfect on the Grado's

I have nothing against automatics, BUT I fucking hate the fact most ppl that drive them don't know how to down shift. I have a mile or so of gradual hill between my house and the interstate. Ppl will ride the brakes all the way down the fucking hill. Ride them brakes buddy.

What's even worse is those same people telling you how to drive when they're passengers in your car ...

"You know you're going to wear out your clutch and transmission if you do that" :suicide-santa:

"I thought it was illegal to use engine brakes" :suicide-santa:

"This is why I hate standards. The transmission slows your car down so much and you lose so much fuel economy trying to overcome the friction of the tranny" :suicide-santa:

WE drive the Wifes grandma home every fall to Arizona. The Wifes aunt drives her extra car to gma's house in the spring and drives gma's car back here. So we are on the way to aunties to get gma and her Buick and I bitch all the way to auties about how ppl drive auto's, bc of some dildo on the hill leaving our house. So whats the first thing the wife does leaving the aunts house. Throw it in OD and ride the brakes for 5 miles to the interstate. I must of said something about it and the fight was on.:duel:

Glendale area right?

I can't remember any more LOL

BTW I will be hitting you up this weekend to set up a time frame. Once leave is approved, I am buying tickets.

Ah, resolutioners are starting to thin...the gym isn't so crowded.

When doing power squats today some douche told me it's the wrong way of doing squats and explained me how I should to olympic squats. I wonder if he got his stick-like legs by doing squats

I never touch my legs, and they are still massive from years of soccer and such.

I would do the same thing. Brakes are far cheaper than transmission repairs.

Hey Stefan, I will take the 3" bamboo's off your hands IF you give them a try and decide you don't like them. :peepwall:

http://www.tb-speaker.com/tbp.htm Oh so many choices!!!

Another driver to look at. http://www.usspeaker.com/faital%20pro-3fe20-1.htm

God, I still haven't had time to test mine :(

If Adrian hadn't quoted that I would have missed it. :P

I've decided to try a 3-way and keep using the current tweets I have, so now I'm looking at midrange drivers instead of wideband / fullrange drivers. I'm going to try new kicks a shot, leg room should be fine, just have to get some better aiming.

I found a pretty good deal on some bnib overpriced drivers that many would frown upon, but I've actually heard these drivers in the past and loved the sound. Of course 99% is install, but I'm going to try them out and if I'm not happy, I can sell them in a heartbeat.

Me too. Although I wouldn't be touching the brakes to begin with unless there was lots of traffic or some reason to slow down. :P

All the vehicles I own are manuals so I will agree to dis-agree.

Thank you Sir Neal. I am leaning towards the LED anyway's, just wanted someone to convience me. I think the energy savings will pay for some of the cost difference anyway's.

Grandma is in Cottonwood (Sedona area).

I have been saving that rant since august. lol

Whenever you are ready brother. Just PM if I am not on at the time.

The funny thing is Grandma has everything labeled for who it go's to when she passes. Just pick it up or look on the back side and there is a note with a name. She is leaving me her Buick so I may own an auto someday. :peepwall:

Maybe he's referring to downshifting automatics ?

For manuals, I have never had any transmission problems in 12 years of driving.

Well, you were speaking of autos not manuals. That's entirely different.

Precisely.

I love Amazon prime. Ordered some stuff about two hours ago, shipping was free, I'll have it at my door on tuesday. :D

Tempting to make myself a little birthday present:

Sweet, whatcha going to film?

Most likely my demos and other car audio related stuff.

I'll be making a glidecam and really want to get into videos of whatever is out there in the world. Awesome footage, nice music, nice editing. :)

Hmm, I have the gopro 1080p, and it's okay for demo stuff on car, but my regular digital camera was better. Now for action stuff...

Oh and get in the chat!
