I do enjoy talking to one of my friends who makes me look like a complete amateur, it seems he picks up a new sport every time I talk to him.  One day it was Palma rifle matches, started winning those, then it was silhouette pistol matches, etc, etc.  I'm waiting for him to make the Olympic team to give me an excuse to go.  Or if I just got off my ass and started training again, I could go for free.

Its perfectly acceptable to be an older beer drinking gentleman shooting in the olympics. Thats one of the great things about shooting, anyone can do it, don't have to be in the top .5% of body type to be able to be a world champion.

Looks like some of the targets online are $45, not bad. I'm just being a bitch cause I've spent more money then originally planned. Who would have thought?

Each time I go out, I shoot about 30-40 rounds, and would actually like to do a bit more if $$$ wasn't involved. Then I'll get a reloading kit, but shoot tons more.

Oh and I'm glad with the purchase I made on the Vortex, but I could see where a $1500 scope would be even more awesome.

So if anyone wants to meet up later tonight, I plan on robbing a few Circle-Ks and hot dog stands. Maybe a Bank of America too.

I don't mind installing stereo equipment as much, atleast the end result is the result we are after.....reproducing music. But sound deadening is such a bitch....tear everything in the car apart just to (hopefully be able to) put it all back together again, breaking a few things in the process.

What do you gun guru's think about the H&K USP Tactical 45?

I've been shopping for a 45 and I really love the Tact. It fits my hand better than any other pistol I've shot (XD 9, a series of 1911's, Baretta m9, and a Glock 22). I also have heard about the torture testing of the USP series so I feel as if it's a safe buy.

I'm relatively sure I'm going to buy it. Just figured I would ask the advice of the more knowledgeable
