I'm ticked at myself for not realizing the great deal I could have picked up at HEB on the bone in Select ribeyes. They had them marked at less than half price (but wasn't indicated as a sale) I almost didn't buy them because I thought there was a catch.

Damn I hate working a 10 1/2 hour shift, driving for 1/2 an hour to a 4 hour school, driving for an hour to get home, then waking up to do it all over again the next day. Waking up at 4:45 in the AM and getting to bed at midnight makes managing 5 guys in a hot humid shop while having to troubleshoot difficult cars all day a real motherfucker. Thankfully I have no school tonight. I suspect this long haired motherfucker is going to sleep at 6PM tonight.

I cooked my first batch of pork ribs ever tonight. I followed an oven recipe using my own rub of Brown sugar, cayanne, paprika, salt pepper and cooked it in the oven for 2 hours at ~295*. I pulled it out and added some sweet baby rays bbq and put it under the broiler for a few minutes.

Turned out pretty fantastic for a first try. I can't want to do it another time and add in some actual smoke!

Less heat, more time = better texture

I have the weirdest alternator whine, there is a high pitched buzz when I have my lights on, it goes away as soon as I press down on the brakes it goes away then comes back when I release.

Sounds like you lost a ground.

You've been skarred Julian

Only one more Breaking Bad episode until next year! I'm going to hate when it is over, but I'm glad they aren't going to drag it out and make it unwatchable.

I'm way back on the episodes (maybe end of season 3), as I don't have time for TV (seriously) so I will watch some here and there late at night when I am just baked from emails, on Netflix.................YO!

I know, everything I want is out of control price wise though. All sorts of handling kits for the GM's and they are easy to make power on. If the Navigator didn't look like it was designed in 1995 I would have drive one of those instead. Either way, nothing that big is of interest to me anymore.

I need to figure out how to afford a Cayenne Turbo. OMG,

I had to do that all through grad school (not the managing 5 guys part), but good luck, it is worth it. :)

I know the feeling all too well. I love my RX-8, easily the best balanced car I have driven for more then a few moments. Easier to drive then Erica's 911S, sticks to the bendy bits just as well too. Already doing power upgrade research. ;) But I have ALWAYS wanted an NSX, but even 20 years old, they are still out of my reach. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=21030&endYear=2013&modelCode1=NSX&showcaseOwnerId=68136&startYear=1981&makeCode1=ACURA&listingType=used&sellerType=d&searchRadius=50&listingId=312016649&Log=0

Yeah, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel on being debt free, and I don't want to sink $40k into a 20 year old car that really should be garaged (of which I don't have one at the moment). So the NSX will probably remain a dream, especially since the new one is electric. Always preferred it to the Supra and 300ZX too. I should shut up and be happy with my latest purchase. ;)

Right now I am looking at letting the bird go. Just not enough time and reliable weather to drive it in. Not sure what the next (if any) fun car will be.

J

Aaron, no worries. The NSX has to be one of the largest let downs ever once you drive it. Absolutely a fucking turd. I seriously couldn't believe how terrible it was.

Dream Crusher.
