i do think that people are too soft these days compared to when i was a kid. parents telling their kids that fighting is wrong and you should tell a teacher or whoever. i think thats the wrong thing to do IMO. why screw up a kids life if he excels academically by getting him/her suspended or expelled from school because he/she punched you because you said something or did something wrong to them. thats all you run into these days are "tattletale" kids who can't resolve their own issues so they rely on others to help them. I on the other hand am teaching my kids to take care of themselves by not telling on others and taking things into their own hands. my son is 3yrs old right now and he won't "tattle" on anybody, he just says he didn't see anything or he doesn't know. i think people should stay out of other peoples business and just concentrate on what they have to do. If my son punches somebody in the mouth because some kid was making fun of him or did something wrong to him does that make him a bully? I think the kid who started it was the bully and my son just made him shut his mouth. i don't want a kid who is so afraid of other kids that he gets depressed and possibly kills himself, i want him to take life by the balls and deal with whatever is in front of him head on.

That is absurd. Words should beget violence?????

I am done with this topic, I am obviously out of my wheelhouse not having kids.

if a kid is calling another kid obscene names and doing other things then yes i do think that kid should get his teeth knocked out. maybe he'll learn his lesson and stop talking shit. my kids will never start a conflict, but they will end it.

i say the things i do out of EXPERIENCE not because i read it some where on the internet. in my day there was no google to make your self look fucking smart,. either you had done it and you know it or you dont and you dont know shit.... like some people i see here,

Not to take away from what your saying, but you can learn a lot on the internet. Though you can also be misinformed. biggrin.png

Oh come on, Blues Audio speakers and Linear Power amplifiers were designed by the God's and ignore Physics. The funny thing is, they sound good too!

If they were made in a different galaxy, then our physics wouldn't necessarily apply, but once they came in our galaxy...

I can't believe it's not butter!!!!

technically, the physics would be the same in other galaxies.

Unless that was a galaxy parallel to ours that did not have the same rules!

If that galaxy was part of one of the other theoretical possibilities that exist it could in fact have diferent natural laws.

It all depends on your universal theory. Quantum is like so passe man.

ohhh your confusing galaxy with universe, for example, the milky way galaxy is one of many galaxies in the universe.

string theory might explain the rest,

That's it, universe, not galaxy.

Since I'm being cheap I got a VPS account without a control panel for setting up dns, so I manually installed one, and setup the dns. *crosses fingers it works in morning*

No one wants to see nasty shit.

Well... if there is another universe, and it has spacial coordinates that match ours then it would be another galaxy in another universe. I digress. We are both correct about a theoretical unproven theory.

I see. Escalating levels of intensity is appropriate to prove a point. And at what level should verbal discussion escalate to physical violence? If they correct them durring a math problem and embarrass your kid? Even if that goody two shoes ass hole didnt try to hurt someones feelings?

Maybe "yo momma" jokes deserve a broke nose.

If one kid then hits another kid, should they retaliate by slamming the kids face into a curb? Or maybe just whip out a pump action and learn that tattle tale somethin they won't ever forget.

Asserting that kids today are pussies and not tough enough for life is one thing.... flat out saying that it is a positive thing to teach kids to retaliate by escalating situations is just such a horrible concept to me it makes me a little fucking sick honestly.

Aaron Paul got the Emmy! Yeah bitch!

Speaking of ignoring physics, the latest iPhone 5 commercial says that the phone defies physics, because it's both "bigger" (larger screen) and "smaller" (thinner) at the same time.

.... I hate Apple, and sheeple

So what is the Poissons ratio of an iPhone?

Albert is my muh fukkkin home boy though. I was watching some talk a while back and this guy summed up AE. People today are still winning nobel prizes from the scraps he left on his table.

Guy was a game changer.

In highschool I wanted to get an e=mc^2 tattoo. I remember reading his books and not having a grasp on any of the math. But getting just enough of it to be star struck and amazed. I fucking love that magical world that you go to when learning things like that.

You would enjoy watching lectures by DeGrasse and Krauss.

I really enjoy listening to their talks while I'm at work. I feel like I can still learn and absorb some despite not being able to sit down and read it.

That's the attitude that makes the world think American's are neanderthals.
