WTF is a smart car good for? I was looking at the specs and my 17 yr old 4 banger gets only 3 mpg less on the highway and has a shit ton more room.

Watch this all the way through. Was going to post it in the what I'm listening to topic, but it is so much funnier here:

As for the durring work out drinks we know that carbs or fats will stop a GH pulse. So using a carb drink durring might inhibit the fat loss goals. BCAA drinks are great. I dont mix with protein, but that might be fine. A calorie free crystal light is a GREAT option to mask the flavor if you have to.

What about post-workout carbs and fats from that point of view ?

I was going to mention something like a pre-work out could help carry you deeper into the workouts. Might need to do a slight carb load and a banana, an hour before heavy lifting.

I wish I had the time to have larger breaks, but I am forced to keep it around 45 seconds max, between sets. So the workouts are intense and fast paced so I can get in as much as possible in 45-60mins.

I try to shorten my workouts with compounds. I actually hit everything in each workout, even as short as they are. 45 degree bent over rows really hit almost every muscle group and it is totally exhausting.

Bent over rows FTW biggrin.png

Deadlifts FTW too.

You actually recommended me bent over rows when I started lifting this winter.

I'm pretty excited that my Silverado on 35's with 4.56 gears can get 16 on the highway. tongue.png

And I'm pissed if my Jeep drops under 28 out of town :D

Out of town means an average of ~40mph, with occasional 70mph passes, hills, twisties :(

did anyone catch homeland ?

38

think the 40's would be too big? those are 38's on it right now

Are you even getting 12mpg? Just wondering.

average 10.7MPG. thats another reason i'm going to do the Duramax diesel conversion, the extra power will be nice also.

Will 10k even touch putting a Duramax in it?

not likelly. it's quite a bit more than that, but i do get one more bonus from work that i'll be using since i quit being a boss. That won't be till the first quarter of next year though

Don't waste your money, you work too hard for it.

You won't see the same results in town driving. Basically a scooter in a "cars" body

Just owned my chm test. :woot:
