I think it sucked. Took me 8 hours to beat on normal with a couple skulls on. That is not right. I did like the addition of the new weapons and no more Flood!

beat it solo on normal in 4hr 40 min so i agree it was too short. It felt like i running through the combat just to get to the next cut scene and progress the plot. The difficulty was too low for me to enjoy the combat. I'll make a second run through on lengendary with friends.

the multiplayer is better then its been in the past. Not as good as halo 2, imo.

8 hours and not on easy? Seems a little short to me. No Flood? That would be nice, they got rather annoying.

campaigne is short but i guess they are adding some content via spartan ops. they're like mini mission that will come out weekly or monthly

flood were destroyed in halo 3, iirc. though there is a multiplayer mode called flood that is similar to the custom game zombies from h2/h3
