AZ ended theirs too, but you can still get the paper permits. I am getting mine when I get home, if for no other reason than it makes carrying back in NY easier.

Good luck carrying in NY, from what I understand its about impossible to get a full unrestricted carry permit.

I love the little blurb about carry permits in Co.

Critics said under the bill it would be difficult to weed out people with felonies, domestic violence, and substance addictions.

Fucking really people? Felons can't own a gun, neither can people found guilty of domestic violence, and substance addicts, like they are going to follow the law anyway!

The moped is finally fixed.

The reed block turned out to be at fault.

Aidan is wearing a shirt today with moped's on it. Not er what I would have bought him, but I am sure my wife bought it used.

You aren't a liberal now are you, lol.

Yea....

Now I don't necessary share the enthusiasm of some people with unlicensed concealed carry, but I sure as hell don't think the streets will run red with blood. I think there needs to be some sort of application/class that people should attend regarding carrying a firearm and preparing your mindset for the possibility of using lethal force. There is actually quite a bit that goes into responsible carrying, knowing the legal aspects, know how to carry properly, when deadly force is allowed, etc. It all varies state to state too.

I fully support concealed carry and personally would love never to ever carry a gun in my life and be a mindless sheep in society, but I accept the fact that there are truly evil men in the world and until that is no longer true I will continue to have the means to protect myself and loved ones. I truly hope I will die of old age and be able to say on my death bed that I have never seen the need to own a gun for protection, but regrettably I don't see that one happening.

NYC very, VERY true. State, not God awful. Especially for military. Hence me getting mine in AZ to possibly help make it easier to transfer to another state.

I have the paperwork to fill out for an AZ permit, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Not even 'needed' anymore.

Yeah with current gun laws I really don't see the point of a CCW permit. All the people you don't want to buy a gun already can't (legally)!

only reason for the cary permit is to make sure people have some basic education about the law... and that we can make sure they have at least shot a gun once in their life prior to carrying one.

It's a bit like a drivers liscence, not any baromiter of skill, but more an assurance that those doing it legaly have operated the machinery prior.

It's just a heck of a lot easier to kill people with a car than a gun.

Definitely a lot easier, especially multiple times

I had internet through Qwest, there not available to where I'm moving to, so I switched the internet to Cox Cable.

I'm now wondering if I should stay with Directv or switch to Cox cable? According to their marketing gimmicks and what not, cox has less HD channels but better quality?

I don't need any fancy DVR or anything, but I would like HD quality. Perhaps it'll come down channel availability.

Any thoughts?

So finding steel brake lines for my lifted truck and brake stuff is proving to be a bitch...

And flaring your own is an even more serious bitch.

I've flared plenty of copper, never steel, but never had a problem with copper.

Really not that bad of a job. Just take your time and never hurry as you will kink the line. I have done both of our dirt track cars and did my truck 2 years ago. As for flaring steel vs copper, I use the same flaring tool and have never had any problems.

Stainless steel and copper aren't even similar. Hard as hell and splits easy.

You need a better flaring tool then. Stainless is easy with the proper tool, and since it is harder, you only need a single flare for brakes. Regular steel will need a double flare.
