  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Now I eat the lasagna frita. It's a fried lasagna app.

I don't get any meat there really. Chicken alfredo perhaps, or carbonara.

The red sauce there is horrible to me though. I make my own sauce though so I'm extremely pickey.

Due to lack of nutrition? or taste?

Both primarily flavor though. Olive Garden is perhaps the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to.

I think Johnny Carino's holds that title

Good, I won't go there then. Never heard of it, but that I might remember.

Oh its just another one of Texas' many fast casual chains that has spread like the plague.

Again, America, I apologize for all of them. I'd make a list but that would take FOREVER.

Where can I find the best local Italian Sean?

North End in Boston

That's perfect for a teusday night!

funny bastard.

Pappas Bros. Steakhouse in Houston and Dallas though, OMGWTF :)

I have not eaten fast food since In and Out Burger in San Diego, circa 2001, and I went there on purpose. Side note, I have picked up a DD coffee in a rush, but that is about it.

I very rarely eat at fast food places. But when I do, it's only at a turk's shop. He makes the best kebabs in town :)

I wouldn't actually call that fast food. Not by what defines American junk. If everything is cooked inside some uber factory in the middle of bum fuck nowhere, guess what, it is gonna suck. I realize the meat in this case was processed in some big ass plant and may even include roadkill, but it is cooked locally.

Yes I realize then that 5 guys etc are not fast food by my definition and I'd agree with that statement. Not sure how they manage to make it so greasy and nasty though. So many regional bars here have WAY better burgers it isn't funny.

MN has some of the best "local joints". I haven't traveled much to prove that, but everyone who visits thinks we have it the best they know of for food options.

Over here that's what fast food is. It is cooked in front of you.

But we still have McDonalds and KFC. Which are disappointing.

Pheasant is a tasty bird

Baby pigeons are TASTY.

My grandmother used to cook them.

Babies?

Yup. My grandparents used to grow pigeons, in small numbers though and every now and them I got to eat pigeon goulash. Way better than chicken goulash.

Thank god there is a ton of local resturants where I live that take pride in their food.

I missed this. Squab is good stuff. Grown pigeons were not so tastey if I remember right.

Thailand obviously

how, why?

of the 5-6 people here.... I handled 31% of the call volume. And I regularly assist others and that takes me away from what I'm doing.

How damn stupid.

Why? "Safety Concerns"

How? They're the fucking cops

Racial tensions between blacks and whites in Cincy have always been tense, so that's probably a factor also
