  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Oldest man on Earth died yesterday @ age of 114.

But did you read his advice for living life?

Nope, what was it?

He attributed his longevity to eating just two meals a day, working as long as he could and always embracing change -- especially death.

"We're all going to die. Some people are scared of dying. Never be afraid to die. Because you're born to die," he said.

Nope, just about to head out to go to work again.

Yea that is where I am to.

I will be there shortly also.

Been at work for the majority of the past 8 hours. Been busy though as I have a brief to prepare for but I won't give the brief, just create the PowerPoint for it; sending up reports, and correcting others; had some college shit to do (god I am behind the curve compaired to me comrads, thank God I am going home soon. School will become easier once back in the US); and being pissed off at shitty computer access. :suicide-santa::suicide-santa:

Everybody must be sleeping in today.

I just got home from work, an hour or so early too

I use it in a distance. I have some apples in my hand and on a bench. I ask, "would you like some of these apples in my hand, or some of those over there?"

So if I have some PSU's in my room, I would say "Gotta sell these." And in Pengs reply it's "those PSU's"? :ughdunno:

I like using it, whether it's writing or reading, just using it... English that is. Lovely language.

Think of it as possession of an object, or the location of an object, both will determine the pronoun used. If the subject of your sentence is wanting to sell PSU's in your room, you would say "I've got to sell those PSU's." if they are NOT in your possession, like if you were to point at them as you say it. "These" would come into play if you had possession of the object. That will get you by most of the time. :)

English sentence structure is quite unique, especially if you know the sentence structure of other languages.

Come in late and leave early, that is what I do. :D

First day of fishing season here and it is raining like mad!

That's an understatement.

is there any "best" method for transmission fluid+filter change?

My method for my truck is to drop the pan allow the tranny to drain, replace the filter, put pan back on and refill. I do this to my truck every 3 years because it has the smaller tranny in it. My tranny has the resusable pan seal. For all the more the fluid and filter costs I figure why not.

Yeah that's the reply I seem to be getting most. Thanks :)

oh Sean, I got dragged into Carino's yesterday. Every single meal, excluding soups & salad, was covered in some form of sauce. Real authentic, huh? :suicide-santa: Just a heads up in case you ever happen to be in Texas. Avoid like the plague.

while I'm on the subject, has there been in depth reviews of Castrol Edge? Seems to be about the same price as Mobil 1 around here...

It is refreshing that they started stocking more synthetics around here; used to be Royal Purple, Red Line, and Mobil 1 were the only choices
