Just bought the grad gifts for my cousin and my old roommate. They are both engineers so I figured I would get them nice vacuum sealed coffee mugs and a quality screwdriver set. So they can embrace what I think all engineers should, coffee and fixing things.

Stripped the Trek down bare, going to treat all the rust, touch up the paint and then re-assemble with SRAM. Have to order about $40 worth of arbitrary shit parts, but once done it ought to be sweet.

Still looking for a wheelset for it though, temporarily it'll have to rob the Lemond but the derailleurs and cassettes aren't really interchangeable. Only high speed gearing is going on the Trek, which people will think funny since its a touring bike.
