Got an inch to do a new case mod. :peepwall:

What have you got in mind?

Something a bit bigger than a normal case, wooden frame, still wondering on the exterior.

Should choose a topic and go from there. Thinking about a Crysis themed case, with aluminium parts for the front and top and plexiglass for the side panels with hexagon type of texture which will be lit underneath with different switchable colors that can be controlled with some type of rotating thingy as in the game. You rotate the thing and not only it will change the color but also will enable or disable fans on the case, so let's say you are going to be gaming hard the case turns red and it's cooling at 100%... idle-other color and the fans will be quiet...

Have to find a place for a 200mm fan too... probably on the side blowing at the GPU and CPU.

Boat is here :) cleaned her up a bit already as well

Sweet. I have friday off.....

Just sayin.

 hadn't really logged on here since the boat came. Too busy cleaning. Just dropped her off at Permatop to get a mooring cover made this am. Do you always have Fridays off?

Sounds pretty cool. Haven't played much Crysis (played the PS3 beta like once before it went offline), but I remember the original PC version couldn't be ran at 100% on most computers. I'd like to see the finished product when you get done :D

Thinking about taking the Sea-Doo out since I've got the day off

maybe its a Texas thing. Its a casserole usually with corn tortillas tomato and green chili, cream of a couple things and cheese.

Its a pickup in the North. Did you find what you needed?

Yeah, it was probably really bad for us but everyone loved it :P

corn tortillas, and chips, Shredded rotisserie chicken, cream of chicken, white cheese dip, mexican blended cheese, and some spices.

All layered up and baked for a while.

So when you order something and they give you a delivery date, then 2 weeks later give you a delivery range (3pm est - 7pm est) and it is now 9pm est, what are you supposed to think?

You're supposed to think you should not have ordered something from Kevin@ Skar.

HA! I'm pretty pleased with the VVX subs but the box he sent me is garbage, total pos. I had to seal it up myself (there was no sealant at all and some one-eighth or slightly bigger gaps on nearly every joint), terminal cup is barely held in, port sucks (1" wide) and the baffle flexes like crazy even with 300 rms subs in it getting maybe 100-150 watts each. :suicide-santa:

That surprises no one. The VVX he had nothing really to do with other than sales, the rest well he can fuck up.

Not a big fan of front wheel drive vehicles

Yes

Haha, nice. But not chopping up this car. Want to keep it simple, maybe even more simple then originally planned and actually go back to passive for the front.

Why would you do that?

Why keep it simple or not chop?

No just for some game stuff in the evening and to sleep in.

If you ever do need a hand, I'm your huckleberry. Had a few good voyages yet?

The kiddos have had a blast on it so far. Launched on Fr and took them to dinner in Excelsior, Sat to big Island and grilled out and yesterday to Goose island and had corned beef sandwiches and lobster rolls. Love it so far.

Driving an inboard in and out of my dock is a bitch though. :P

It was raining so hard a few min ago I couldn't see the building across the parking lot. Maybe 75 to 100 feet away.

Curious if anyone has an ingenius idea to help me.

My wakeboard tower is 1 7/8" OD Alum tubing. The rod holder I like the best is for 2" OD Al tubing ( http://www.strykerttops.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SR100 ). I figure some sort of shim should be enough to make it work. Can't be something that will heat cycle and get old. I will be putting a grill cantlilevered off the holder so it will also need to support some weight. Of course, its for Muskie Rods so they too will be some serious stress on the holder.

I'd prefer a plastic shim as it seems to me duct tape may make a mess.

Only problem is whatever you use for a shim is likely to act like a bushing and it may never allow full clamping force or enough to not move.

Personally, I would get a sheet of 1/16" ABS, form it around with a heat gun, clamp as hard as you can, then drill and run a SS bolt all the way through.

It is option #3. ;)

I think I may have some delrin around here that I could make you a 2pc bushing out of. Its pretty slippery stuff so I don't know if that will work for you or not.
