With unexpected storms and system upgrades, I needed a break ...

Night shift can really take a toll on someone if you don't be carefull. Plus, I need some rest from climbing high line poles and climbing up and down from that bucket truck ...

Hopefully I can find me a cool looking truck on this vacation week ...

And sleep looks like an idea as wifey has a brain scan tomorrow.

A friend of mine now works from home running a furniture companys sales dept. Every Monday is his work from the golf course day and play softball day.

LOL!!! VERY similar things have been said by some of our best friends.

We were doing a rollover drill while we were in Kuwait before heading to Iraq. Well when the 'truck' rolled her seatbelt didnt lock. Add in an easy 35 lbs over her body weight and all of it coming crashing down onto her head (with a padded kevlar on). Well that rung her bell fuckin horribly. 2 days later and she was still having splitting headaches and couldn't remember very simple shit.

Now they are looking to see if she suffered a brain injury here. This 'concussion' may have really fucked her head up (more than it was before) , and its not fun for either of us. Just sucks when you can't do a whole lot to help.

Had an interview today with National Instruments and had 2 interviewers. During the practical test I felt like a sheep among wolves. "why did you change that?" "why did you do that?" Oh well, on the second assignment they tried to find something bad for 20 minutes and couldn't.

Hopefully I get the job. Or the job at Emerson. 2 weeks until I get the results from both.

On the bright side, work with the backhoe is moving along well and I just ordered an instrument cluster with the OEM boost gauge. Same price as an aftermarket boost gauge but without the hassle of trying to mount it on the A-pillar.

Just got done watching Shutter Island. It was really good

Really fuckin trippy movie though

That movie was nuts. See inception yet?

No I really need to, but I'm ridiculously behind the times film-wise. Sadly I pretty much know the ending thanks to all the hype etc. Same with Shutter Island, but I still liked it a lot. I'll have to watch Inception sometime soon. Is it pretty good?

I knew the ending because someone spoiled it for me awhile ago, but even then I was convinced otherwise until the very end. I love movies like that. Saw Limitless not so long ago too, it's not as good as this, but worth a watch.
