no man what you need to do is get rid of all your batteries and buy a 30 farad capacitor because of the super low ESR!

I don't see how those guys can stand to drive them in town. I get tired of driving a 3/4ton extended cab long bed, let alone before a guy lifts it, bigger tires, and bigger grill guards, etc.

A lot of people wonder how I do driving the Jeep around town, since it seems big to them. They never saw a 1 ton :)

I'm a little behind in the hop but I love driving the big ass vehicles. Just a Texas thing I suppose.

But then again I love being able to swing my car into tiny spots. In my truck I walk more because I just park in the back

Well I gave in and turned the heat on. Damn 38 is cold when you are used to 75!

Two of my friends have Makita buffers. Another has a generic piece of shit. I am sick of having them loan theirs to me, but if I am dropping $150+ I'd like to make sure I get something decent. Obviously I've had good luck with the Makita, but anything else you guys would look at?

The machine really has nothing to do with it. About the only thing i would worry about would be variable speed, but even that's not a necessity. My dad has an old Milwaukee that I love, but it's about 30 years old and heavy as shit and makes stretching over large horizontal panels very difficult. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a cheap buffer for $30 and it's been working fine for about 5 years now.

I have discovered Harbor Freight.

My wife will never trust me to run to Tucson before 6 pm alone again.

Remember, you get what you pay for...

Understandable...............but when I need to use a tool on something awkward, or something to lend out its worth while to have some cheap shit on hand.

Alright guys I started a you tube account and need to make some shorter videos due to their 15 minute thing. I also am going to upload our new commerical. One I am finished I will post it for you all to watch.

Opening weekend went well and hopefully this coming weekend is better. We would like to see 500+ people a night.

Interesting, my buddy bought a cheap one online and the thing is so far out of balance it isn't usable. I figured all the cheap ones were that way. By no means am I a pro, but I've spent a good 100+ hours holding one so I am not a tard either.

Good Luck!

Had a crazy thought for laying out my kitchen differently, but to try it I need to add about 7" of height to my current kitchen table. The legs are 2x2 teak, but I don't care if it matches at all. Just an experiment that will last a few months so that I can decide what to buy.

They are wood so I could dowel, put in a threaded rod, etc. but would like to be able to remove whatever I attach so a permanent gluing is out of the question. Any ideas?

Put a 2x2 under it and a collar to go around.

Couldn't agree more....but what would you use for a collar?

They used 27 players that game. It's pretty obvious how the Rays were able to come back.

Yeah, by scoring more runs than the Yankees. John Madden could tell you that.

:lol2:

Doesn't matter how you won, just that you won ;)

Shit...........runnin late for work lookin at shit. Now i'm just trying to get the dog in her kenel.

Ryan, I got to get my eyes and hands on a nice NF scope. It felt like I could club seals with it. Nice peice of metal. It was a 5-22.

What I did like the most was the amazing eye releif. I felt like I could sit a foot away and still see an image. The image was clear and a lot of light came through even on high power. When I got it in focus it was nice and bright. It was on par/better than the leopold mk4 I looked through for brightness.

What I was not so fond of was the edges of the image. It warped a bit just around the edge of the image. I was also having an issue with the focus on it somewhat, like I couldn't dial it in just right without spending a long time. The brightness on it was almost a bit much when looking at white objects, I had to angle the scope at a 30-45 degree angle though to find objects at any distance at the store though, so there was definately extra light coming in than would ever be in any practical.

What was weird was how tight the magnification ring was. I had to really twist it. It's not a negative really as it was within my ability to do so and on real rings, not the rubber test rings at the shop, it would be much more tollerable. The other goofy thing is the aperatue glass and housing rotates as you turn the magnification. It was definately weird but again isn't bad, just goofy.

I did rule out schmidt and bender for sure though. I haven't looked through the police marksman yet, but I am not massively impressed with the magic glass they claim to use. The cost isn't justified from the other ones I looked through.
