As for the batteries, I'd probably go with the CR123a's because I could go to best-buy and buy some if I need them, I don't know about the 18650 li-ion ones.

If you are going to use it a lot, the 18650 are by far the way to go. If its not going to need a recharge more than 2x a year then its a waste to use them.

Probably more flashlight than you need for that. I've got a cheap P-rocket with 3 settings and the lowest would be adequate for what you are doing. I don't even need it on high when ripping through the woods at night on my bike.

Going to need an extra cup of :coffee:

That would be sweet for when I go hiking at night and the moon isn't out. Err most of the time I forget my flashlight any way.

True. A set of rechargeable, and a box of 123a batteries to keep places would probably work pretty well. :)

For me I figured it'll get used for an hour or two at a time as a headlight and then need charging. No brainer on the 18650's which have been awesome btw. Had a small problem with the button on my light, but Shiningbeam took care of it PRONTO

Nem let me look around and see if I can find you a flashlight here on base for a cheaper price.

So my girl friends mom gave me a large cast iron skillet a small (egg sized) cast iron and 2 pots (2 and 4 quart maybe??) there not new some I'm assuming they are "seasoned"

Anyways I'm looking to make good use of them. I was thinking of cooking a chili in one this week.

What is cast iron best for and what is the proper way to take care of them?

Made it into a topic at the HAF http://www.homeaudioforum.net/topic/358-cast-iron/

no idea if it's the "proper" way or not but what I always do is to put oil in the bottom (prefer animal grease of some sort of course). Just enough to cover the bottom and make sure to coat the sides. Then anytime I'm baking something the skillet goes in with it. For example I'm making bread, so I throw my cast iron in the oven with it. Eventually you get a nice sheen on the inside and the pan will be damn near nonstick.

of course in my household cast iron is used regularly for fried potatoes, cornbread, chili, sausage and bacon.

Sorry for the delay, I kept forgetting. If you have questions, you know where to post them.

I'm such a slacker, it could probably take me months to start mine... or never.

Thanks for the effort, appreciate it.

If you want to buy a vehicle that looks like a 911, buy a 911... lol

Sean overall is this a good flashlight? For that price I will get 4.

Been a week since I last drove... I need some.

Can't imagine after I get a complete system in...

What if you need four doors? What if you need to tow?

If you want a stupid Honda, buy one not a car that looks just like it. lol.

In a move that is certain to stir controversy far beyond its borders, Topeka’s City Council voted yesterday to repeal the Kansas state capital’s ban on domestic battery.

The move is a purely political one: Budget cuts have compelled Shawnee County District Attorney Chad Taylor to transfer all misdemeanor domestic battery cases to the city, which has refused to handle them due to the added cost.

Interim city manager Dan Stanley believes the ban’s repeal is exactly the sort of kick in the junk the DA’s office needs to start prosecuting domestic battery cases again.

Some 30 abuse suspects have had their charges dismissed since the dispute began, with one offender being released twice.

...

Adding insult to injury, October happens to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

:wtf:
