You try any Corona lately Tirefryr?

What is every bodies opinion on this TV?

Not the best black levels (still okay, but definitely worse than some others), but excellent colours. Great for daytime viewing, wouldn't recommend it if it's going to be used primarily in the dark. Better off with a MVA/PVA LCD panel or a Plasma in that case, IMO.

Soundstream-Rubicon-II-RUB500-2-Old-School-Amplifier.JPG.jpg

Got my hands on this SoundStream Rubicon 500-2 (model RUB500-2)

Anyone got any good info or opinions on them?

Got it in a small trade.

J

Good amps, though the older US made models were better.  Thought that was the old one for a moment before memory kicked in and Google confirmed it.

Still kicking myself for selling mine for bigger Orions.

It almost looks like Ferdinand has little thumbs. Little guy game me a look when Venon Davis scored that touchdown.

Any recommendations in the 600 dollar range? I've looked at a Samsung LN40D630 http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/LN40D630M3FXZA but at $650 its starting to stretch the budget a little bit. But if its worlds better I can spare the fifty bucks I guess.

I bought some over Christmas and it tasted horrible, so I am working with a local L store to get some St. Peter's G-free. My BIL is also brewing me some stuff with a sorghum base.

Was nice to see the Niners win again. Looks like I may have to dust off my gear.

Before there was the Raven's (1983-1996), I rooted for the 49'ers, as there was something about the Redskins that I just did not fall in love with as a fan though I did follow them.

When you are talking panel size of 46" or smaller there are not many "junk" tv's out there. It really comes down to what you plan on doing with the tv. If you are viewing tv under normal conditions your first pick will be fine. If you are looking toward theater that is another story.

It will be mainly normal viewing but will also use it as a monitor and htpc functions.

Then either one will work fine. My personal preference would be the panny, but I am not a sammy fan though.

Supercross is awesome, both heats have been epic.

So my son is having the time of his life at the game tonight! He is a New England fan.

Thank you, I have looked at sony's also but they keep changing their lineup and the one I liked is getting hard to get they are also on the more expensive side. Guess its time to go to the store again and look at the pictures.ehh.gif

It has some issues with the motion smoothing and the colour out of the box is ridiculously overblown (my dad has the 46" model), but once you fix those in the settings, it's a great TV.
