didn't wear long sleeves when sanding/cutting the fg so i got a nice rash on my inner elbow and forearm. any tips to alleviate teh itchiness?

Nothing you can do now, but let it work its way out. Next time you do this, do NOT wash up with hot water. It opens your pores and allows the fibers to embed themselves deeper in your skin.

Or use hot wax, that will pull most shit out of your skin.

Thanks for this; AWESOME info!

I think they're telling you to rabbet joint the wood. A dado blade works good if you have one, then notch pipe to fit tight.

I don't have dado's....but have a router installed on my table saw so that is no problem.

What I didn't follow was it sounded like a double rabbet was being recommended.

I thought double rabbet also until the latest sketch up.

I dont think he'll need any rabbets given the PVC's natural spring to roll in on itself once he cuts it.

And that would be better since I just spent $600 on woofers.

You can not make a post like that with out details! Give it up, what did you get?

A pair of 12" Gcons for myself and a 10" Gcon for my nephew.

Sweet, I showed them to my nephew and his dad bought him friken powerbass 15's and I was like what are you thinking? Now I get to install them in is van.

The powerbass stuff is actually pretty good.

My Nephew's car is blue and I had some blue windshield wipers I stole off a car in the junkyard as a joke. I gave them to him and he thought they were so cool. I was going through some old audio shit and found an old Profile amp and a Lanzar 12, both of which were blue also and he wanted them as well. All hope is lost with my niece and my nephew just has his head on straight which is unbelieveable given his worthless father, so I think he's earned some good stuff and a chance to learn how to play with audio equipment and tools. Like all teens, he likes his bass, so the 10" vented in that little turd should be enough to send it rocking.

Just remember you can not wait a couple days to do this. It must be done fairly quick, I keep hot wax at work for this, metal splinters suck!

I don't disagree, but for the money there is better stuff. Like I told him it is not my money and I will make sure things are done correct.

Yeah, that is self-explanatory. This would have helped me yesterday as I cut a nice one out of my thumb.

I dont think a rabbet joint is needed either. IF anything I would leave a tab in the middle of the PVC and do a mortise and tenon in the middle. Would lock together like Lego's!

Does anyone have any experience with metal sheds? I need something cheap and easy to hold my tractor and found this at Lowes. It will be up off the ground with a treated cedar frame and I will coat it in a roll on urethane bed liner eventually. Im just worried about it holding up to wind.

Looking at this.

Just add inner supports like 2x4's and it should be fine.

And I like to put some money in Aaron's pocket, even though I know he doesn't get much.

I agree, he is a good guy and provides awesome support 24/7!

I just don't understand why I have to pay shipping! ;)

I will definetly be pushing the new GCON to all my friends as it is in the range money and power most of them are after. Fuck the slant eye's.lol

Standing in line for the health fair waiting to get blood drawn. Good thing I am not scared of needles. smile.png

My sister is a nurse and she's horrified by blood.

I mop blood up all day long, I call it the Hep-C challenge. lmao

I too will be giving Aaron moneys IF and when I need something new. Heck, I wore my SSA Dickie to the health fair. :D

I was informed the first 5 Gcon customers will be getting free pocket pussies with their orders. I just hope they are new and sealed.

I think all Aaron ever gets is a shaft.

Apparently Comcast finally realized they left the cable connected at my house and disconnected it in the middle of the night. It worked when I went to bed at night, woke up 6 hours later and it's been cut at the pole. Don't know why they waited 7 years or why they did it in the middle of the night. Very odd.

As long as the roof is up to the snow load where you live should be fine. The roofs are loud when it rains if its near where any one sleeps.
