Beware of recipes for the Carolina sauce. All shit. Just take some vinegar, add enough sugar (brown might be preferred for smoke), and then disolve the hottest powdered pepper you can find. Fresh Cayenne from a co-op or ground thai chile's will probably be the only choices where you live but will do. Add them, shake, and taste.

Going to have to shake the shit out of it before putting on anything as the peppers won't dissolve even with heat. I use a squeezebottle that is akin to a refillable ketchup bottle but clear plastic. bought at a restaurant supply store. Super useful for a ton of things, but one stays in the fridge for that purpose pretty much religiously.

Oh, it's fucking awesome on pulled pork. Especially on the fatty parts.

Key ingredients are vinegar and something hot. Normally slightly sweetened with a sugar as well. Of course anything else you hanker for can go in. I have some red chile from India that a colleague brings me once a year that is super hot and yummy. Mix a little of that in some apple cider vinegar and BAM sauce that'll kick the notch up on any smoked meat. If the tang is too much just sweeten it a tad. There is always some in our fridge. Sort of like those shitty fake mexican sauces you can buy but with less flavor and more heat.

So ironic. I have been indulgin in some authentic Mexican cuisine from one of the guys I work with. He cam back from Mexico a couple weeks ago and brough some chiles and jalapenos with him and some real corn chips and meal. I could not believe the difference in taste in the chiles and jalapenos in what I was accustomed to from a supermarket. Yes, they have some heat, but the flavor is the first thing that hits you. It's just unreal how different it is when you actually have flavor.

Dammit, I was hoping I could get away full range. I think I have some spare crossovers laying around that would limit the bottom end 80hz ish, but that's it.

Perhaps this is my "nudge" so I can try out a minidsp.

It isn't the bottom end that is the problem so much. That cone is LIVELY

Painting plastics of the interior of the car is a real PITA......its made even worse when the wind suddenly pics up. Even light winds tries to pick up the plastics. Cant use the garage case the bird is in there with a bunch of other crap. Moving the car out isn't much of an option as the driveway is slanted and the spring on my e-brake needs re-set.

i slapped together zaph's hivi b3n (or is it b3s) design for my computer speaker. but i dont need very much output at all.

I prefer headphones for gaming, etc.

if they are computer speakers, is there not a way to do the process actively on the pc, rather then purchase a minidsp?
