What is the point of that? Unless you hold it for some absurd amount of time, it is kind of a sillly exercise.

Plank exercises work your core muscles quite well

I don't doubt it. It would just take several minutes of holding in place. Most core muscles dont work much while in motion, hence sit ups being a waste for core strength mostly.

In martial arts we would have what was translated to "mental forms", a kind of static kata. They were define effective at causing muscle soreness. Stanind in a T position for 10 min each side with a board on your back was debilitating!

Well that's it.............As of now married life seems to have run its course. Told the wife I have had enough unhappiness. Shit is not easy to admit.

????? What happened?

For your core, if you hold it for a while, you can feel it. Personally, I need to be doing more exercises like this, part of the reason why I have tried to squeeze some yoga in from time to time.

No doubt. Bridges are by far the best for core. Any of the Indian work out programs will change your life. Indian wrestling or yoga are both core destroyers. So is snowboarding BTW.

Planks get much harder the farther you push your elbows forward and the closer your stomach is to the ground

What i usually do is hold a fairly difficult position for ~30 secs then start sliding my elbows forward until im as close to the ground as possible without touching it and hold that till i collapse lol. The last few seconds im all shaking to strain and my core feels like its going to split in half lol

Much thanks guys.

I have been 'content' at most since our anniversary in Iraq. I can seriously count the number of honestly happy days on one hand and a thumb. Only one was she involved in, and even then she didn't need to be, it just kinda worked out that way.

Her personality, way of doing things, and interactions with me and everyone else has change so fucking much it drove me insane. I was hoping her leaving for Korea would make shit a bit better (the whole 'distance makes the heart grow fonder' shit), and yet add it in with my own issues and its become one hell of an explosion waiting to happen. I told her I'm willing to talk but I have seriously become un happy. Among part of the issues is being told 'I am too tired' all the fucking time except the last week she was here. It was always one excuse or another for no sex, for why she didn't want to stay out even if she was drinking and I was driving (when 3 mths ago she'd stay out all night with me), its like everything switched over. She'd talk to me about problems and before she'd listen and take my advice. For the past little less than a year, its like my advice, my opinion, my thoughts on almost anything didn't matter in the fucking least. She would take the 'passive aggressive' way out of things, which means not doing a goddamned thing about it, and letting others railroad her and her career like it was their main focus in life.

It's just made me one very unhappy individual. I am done being unhappy with what my life has become, and its not just the marriage.

Honestly as soon as the final verdict comes down about my 'career' and how I am leaving I intend to leave AZ and try to forget the last 6 years have happened.

WOW, sorry to hear all this J. I wish you the best and I am here to listen.

Appreciate it bro. Just biding my time and trying to be patient.

Being patient will always help you see thing in a clear view and guide to to making the right decision.

It seems patients are far and few in today's world.

Patience is a virtue I really do not have in great abundance. I am not rushing to do paperwork. I am giving it time. But I have let her know my feelings, and my intentions.

Got sent home from work for being too sick. Would've liked have those 4 hours...oh well

Spent the last two days installing the EGT gauge on the A-pillar. I never imagined it will take so long...

Build fiberglass rings to hold the gauge, move oil temp gauge to a different spot, 'glass over both gauges, extend wires, trim a-pillar.

What the hell is it with unboxing videos ? What's so interesting ?

Kids who can't afford the stuff, but want some resemblance of the experience--I suppose.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Officials say a man walking his dog on the streets of San Diego stabbed a pit bull to death after the animal attacked him.

U-T San Diego reports (http://bit.ly/QTZnUi ) Monday that the man was walking in the City Heights neighborhood when the dog came at him Sunday night.

County animal services Lt. Dan DeSousa says the pit bull retreated to its home, where the owner took the dog to a veterinarian's office. The dog died there.

The victim and his dog suffered only minor bites, and he declined to file charges against the dog's owner.

Investigators and neighbors were surprised at what they found in the home of a Carson City man who died over the summer, the Associated Press reports. Among cases of tuna fish, salmon and guns found in the home of Walter Samaszko, Jr., they also found $7 million in gold bars and coins.

There was so much gold it had to be carried out of the house in a wheelbarrow.

“I’ve never seen that much gold in my life,” neighbor Joe Baxter said.

If it works, the great. I just dont buy it.

I just do them normal, but hold it for 90sec straight. It goes along with all the other gymnastic type training I've been doing.

Sharing a bottle of Blanton's for my father's 50th...damn this is some good shit...
