I might sell my damn truck, aargh. Stupid wheel bearing is shot (or so my guess is anyways), squeaks non-stop when you put any force on the wheel by turning the opposite direction, squeaks when you apply the brakes, and doesn't sound healthy. I can't believe all of the little crap that breaks on these things. My truck has about 70,000 highway miles and 20,000 in town and is literally falling apart. It will definitely be the last newer GM product I own until they get off their ass and actually care about quality. In the 60,000 miles I have owned it I have had more things go wrong by nearly 5x as I did on my Ford which I owned for 140k and was much harder on since I only drove it when I needed to beat on something. Frigging pathetic. So far it has been the most expensive vehicle to repair that I have ever owned.

Sounds like Tundra time.

Lincoln Mark LT, I am too big for a Japanese truck that and I won't buy Japanese anything if I can help it.

  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Perhaps just a standard Ford Crew Cab King Ranch as well. I actually think the leather is nicer in the King Ranch, but there is something cool about the Lincoln in black on black. Not sure what the hell I'd do for a sub setup in one though. Not so much space in Crew cabs under the seat. Perhaps a 3 way with 10's in the doors and no sub :D

the yellow is damn hard to read on a white background

I usually have one of the dark ones active, easier on my eyes.

Just switched. Is it supposed to better for your eyes or just your perception?

I was told that lighter text on a darker background is easier for the eyes to grasp. Thinking back, many of the computers or closed computer rooms I have worked in at previous jobs, where usually light on dark background. I know that most Navy systems rooms are dark rooms with dark screens with light text for those who are on shift for 15+ hours.

My father in law bought one due to his size. Great truck with unreal acceleration for something that big.

But an F250 would be fun.

Need, sort of. My demo gear is hard to load into anything else. I "get" to push 300lbs of stuff up my snowmobile ramps and into the back of the truck under the topper. I could probably get away with a sport ute, but actually prefer the utility of a full size rig. I could change my mind on that shortly though as the more I get promoted the less I am carrying stuff around. Another solution would be to sell my snow trailer and get a covered one to use for my sleds and demo gear. That might be a logical solution as then my sleds wouldn't ever sit "outside" either.

I am not a fan of Chrysler anything after selling out twice and still medicore build quality at best. IME, they are below ford and Chev.

Ya.. I don't think I'll ever buy new. Lightly used is where it's at.

Best part about the Lincoln is that the resale on the used ones is lower than a Ford. Nobody is looking for a used one. Gotta love buying a two year old truck for less than half price.

:woot:

From a testing perspective, Ford >> GM > Mopar. I think it is starting to show on their newer cars as well.

GM might come round the horn now that they will not be the largest, they might finally give up on their stupid ideal of selling the most vehicles and instead focus on making good vehicles that they sell for a profit.

I also think that being owned privately will help Chrysler. The firm that owns them surely wants to fix their problems and then sell them for a quick cash turnaround, I really doubt they are in it for the long haul. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of the auto unions and other mafia like behavior.

Mercedes bought them out, stripped them clean, ran all the good execs out of town, then sold them once they were finished for a huge loss...

Maybe now they will be run like a business.

We need to put together a reference disc... all lossless format downloads. I need tuning music to use as a reference.
