I hope I do somewhat ok on this medical test.........oh god, wish me luck...that's all it's gonna be guys.

i need a source for a good cheap HVLP gun with a 1.3'ish nozzle

for finish work ? clear coat ? something else ? I can check around a few places in the noke

color and clear hopefully. there's one on harbor freight i picked up last night, $30 and it's got good reviews. If it sucks it'll just end up being the new primer gun.

Tell them to go to the hobby shop and look for pactra paints . They sell one stage candy colors. But don't tell them it is for painting lexan, and the only way it remotely looks candy is to back it with silver

not a single person has mentioned a base coat for it, and nobody even knows that a candy is translucent (is that the correct word?). I'm not touching the thread, but it's kind of funny.

Well, 1200-1500 or so. Not sure what this driver can take (you'll see it, I'll bring it down with me), but I'd like enough on tap to test its capabilities.

LOL, I've had paint guys explain to me what all it takes to do a good Candy... Not exactly 1 stage...

The JL 1000/1 in the truck could be gained up a bit. In the house I have a Crown Com-Tech 800, but it only does 995w at 8ohm bridged and can't be run 4ohm bridged I don't think. Is it an SVC 4?
