What will cause the move? Are you required to move after that period, or will there be another opportunity for you? What's the situation there?

Other opportunities should (will) come up - my PhD will be complete by then. If these guys can offer me tenure then I may consider staying. I would also really like to start up some sort of elite athlete training facility here before I leave and take the business with me.

Hopefully it will be back to BC - I can't stand Alberta to be honest. I'm tired of paying $200/month for power ... in BC I paid $95 for two months (hydro) ... car insurance in BC is $1000/year, in AB it would be $12,000/year. Forget that. Besides, there are cows here and it smells - that is bad enough.

BC > Alberta > Saskatchewan.

But if you they offer you tenure...that's not a bad gig.

Good luck with that steve-o, i def agree with not parking anything nice in the student parking lot.

I want to get to class and get aquatic entomology over with, so i can go to work and do nothing.

Sounds like a dog chit class to me - required to grad?

It's safer to park in the student parking lot than the faculty/staff lots - anyone can get their PhD and having one means you drive worse than usual, I think.

i have to have another lab to graduate, aquatic has a lab with it which is way cooler than any of the other labs.

parts of my body that are sore after last night...

all of them

steve you should come down to VA, tech profs make a very good salary and they don't jerk you around about tenure, you either get it or you're gone after (i think) 1 year

Move here and I can be your VP for the gym. :) You could teach at UMD or Hopkins or Loyola or American etc. :)

Working in the city is giving me the itch to move down here. :(

If he continues then I'm going to offer him 2 options : refund or STFU.

He said the lights cut out at some point and he had a bad ground. Now he's probably upset because he fried his amp and wants to blame it on me.

I might be able to make it up there... But I will have to have get a fake ID because I won't be 21 till 2months after that. :(

Or drink at the house.

Are they strict about underage drinking up there. I know around here as long as your not making an ass of yourself or waving your drink in the air they don't care and in Louisiana they don't really give a damn.

Sold as-is. All my electronics are sold as-is, same can be said for any auto part I sell.

Tested in my house, on a battery, powering the rl-i and it worked fine.

I offered to fix it but he said no. He confessed to a faulty install. We'll see how it goes because he's offline now.

What pissed me off the most is that he has no clue about wiring 2 subs but he talks now like he's the amp master.

Sounds like the dude that won't admit he pulled in front of me.

Deny Deny Deny when you are caught with your pants down.

fish sticks in the oven, already drank the n-large2 though. I just gotta choose which gym i'm joining this time. I've heard the one i was thinking of joining had a huge MRSA problem a few months back.

While watching the Barret Jackson auction on Speed channel, the roommie was drooling over the '54 vettes because they have one at home sitting in the garage being put together, and he wants it done something awful. Theirs is even a factory black '54 Vette which I understand is very, very, rare.
